The Host is definitely a million times better than Twilight. There is romance, but unlike Twilight, the main character is a three-dimensional person and the amor interest isn't a stalker boyfriend. In my opinion, Stephenie Meyer should write mais adult novels and stop with Twilight.
It is NOTHING like Twilight. It is 100 time better, I can't believe that SM wrote the same books. Just read it, that's all I can say, it is amazing. You'll amor it.
it also has romance but it is not only about that, its mais about human feelings from the perspective of someone who isn't and she is overwhelmed por them (they show motherhood, anger and strong feelings like these) the romance part is also different from twilight, they only fall in amor after knowing each other, sharing experiences etc, in twilight it was almost amor at first sight. don't expect to find anything similar between these 2 books (just that in both men are perfect XD)
