Do you have any tips for me to be good with my money when I start my job?

I am starting a job (Apprenticeship) soon and I want tips on how to not spend every penny I earn because I want to save for my future, so I don't stress when certain events happen.

You should come up with a plan and stick with it. Your plan will depend on whether you live with your parents, live on your own, or live with a roommate or roommates. Plan out on how much you need to spend on what. First figure out what you need to spend on food, bills, clothing, rent, and other expenses that you absolutely have to pay for. Then you have to figure out how much you can spend on entertainment like going out with your friends to the filmes or other stuff you like to do. Don't spend too much money on stuff like that, because you should put as much money as you can into your savings. A good way to save money is to keep it in a bank, or, if you don't have a banking account or you're just mais traditional, you can put your saving money into a jar and lock the jar up somewhere.

Step 1) Come up with a good plan to save your money
Step 2) Plan to spend only a small portion of your money you earn
Step 3) Think you are doing a good job
Step 4) KPop decides your plans were funny
Step 5) Spend all your money on merch, albums, and possible future concerts

Dont resist. Its futile.

The best way to be good with your money is:
1. Record every penny coming in and out - if you have a bank account - make sure that you reconcile the statement each month. For the cash on hand have a good idea about how much you have.
2. I know when I start a job, I want to buy my lunches at the near por rest. / deli / etc. Try to avoid this - take a lunch with you - lunches out really add up.
3. If the work place is far away, try to team up with someone that has the same schedule as you do - save on transport.
4. Before you go to spend your money - make a list and try to stick to items on it - of course if there is something that you buy quite often and you see it is on sale - try to buy a little extra.
5. Take a small calculator with you when you comprar - sometimes the larger sized items are cheaper per unit - but sometimes it may not be.
6. If you have credit (or debit) cards - try not to use them for every transaction. Check with the bank - certain accounts may have transaction fees - some may be unlimited, etc. As far as the credit card is concerned - make sure you pay it off each month.
7. If you have to work shifts - find out if there are shift premiums. If there are - then try to take the shifts with the highest rate - some places that may be the Sunday shift (if it is not against your religion).

These are just a few to start off with - good luck - I hope things work out well for you.
