Your opinion on this......?

So I never even watch disney anymore, but I've heard that the show Good Luck Charlie is gonna be airing an episode featuring two moms.

And to be honest, I amor the idea. (For one, children of today are the seguinte generation, and I think it's really important that they actually learn about equality among all people when they're young). I've heard some people say it's a "bad" idea and that disney is irresponsible (lol wut), but this is actually a good opportunity to teach kids that homosexuality isn't bad, and it could help kids who ARE homosexual feel better about themselves.

Now I'm not really asking for your opinion on gays but do you think it's a good idea for disney to do this?
//yeah I could've posted this on the disney fanclub but nobody's ever there lol//

i think its all honkey dory and all but i share a concern that we're letting tv and other forms of media raise our generation and the one following it.

Def good. There's not enough queer representation in kids' media. If parents don't want their kids to be "influenced" or whatever por the episode, they can just change the channel. *shrugs*

I don't know why disney would agree to this because it's a program for youngsters but it's a bad idea por what were teaching kids today if homosexuality is shown on a kids show and who it's coming from.

I think it's a great idea! No matter what your opinion of lgbt people is or what you think about same-sex marriage, they exist and children will have to learn about them at some point. Showing young children things like this will just help them be mais tolerant and understanding when they grow up.
