If mythical creatures (mermaids, vampires, fairies, etc.) were discovered to be real, what would you call them?

Surely, they couldn't be called "mythical" anymore.
They can't be called human, because that's already been taken.
Calling them "creatures" or "animals" would be disrespectful.

What would you refer to them as. Please, not "fairies", "vampires", and "mermaids".
I'm looking for a way to refer to them all as a whole, not por species. As in "Vampires, fairies, and sereias are _____."
