Do you think fanpop us competing with Facebook?

No, I don't think so.
Do you hear anyone talking about Fanpop?
Do you see anyone on facebook caring?
It's extremely unlikely that Fanpop's doing that. We're just getting updated.
Also, Tumblr is blue too. Twitter is blue. You can like comments on youtube and you can like things on Tumblr, Yahoo, any social networking site basically.
If you say Fanpop's going to have a war against Facebook, you're going to have to include all those other sites too.

I think the managers are jealous of how popular facebook is, and they're sucking the originality out of fanpop to make it mais like Facebook. It blows.

as long as fanpop is mainly about fanoms & shipping that can never happen .. maybe its picking up some ideas that are popular in face book .. but fanpop is about fanoms NOT about us & r friends ♥

Just because fanpop changed its color scheme doesn't mean it's trying to compete with Facebook. I honestly doubt they care considering facebook is nothing like fanpop.

I dont think so, and I hope not 2. I amor both so much, I dont wanna see fanpop crash and fall ( Im not being mean, but u gotta admit, facebook is just 2 famous 2 beat ).
I think the new upgrade is totally fine, as long as I can still do things like I use 2 do, then Im good *thumbs up*

I do think fanpop is trying to be like facebook because the probably want to try to be succesful with that idea since facebook got billions of $, but if fanpop tries to look like Facebook, they will fail. They were much better when they were original. I also dislike the new layout because the futuristic look scares me. I liked the simple black and green better (or whatever color it used to be). I even went to "contact us" to try and tell fanpop that a lot of us would like the old layout back. I hope they read it because they say on the "Contact us" that they want to hear our ideas so that everyone on fanpop will be happy and the old layout makes me happy.

Green was maybe better :)
