Do you believe in animal rights?

I don't think animais should be abused.
I think slaughter houses should be mais humane.
animais have rights, too. They aren't human, but they are people.


I don't disagree with eating them, though. I'm a carnivore. If it isn't meat, I probably won't eat it. But that doesn't mean I think animais are any less than us. I always say "Thank you" before I eat. Not to God, not to whoever cooked and served me the food, but I thank the animal for giving its life away to keep other people alive. It's part of survival. If we lived in the wild like we were supposed to, we would have to eat them to survive. And we have to eat them to survive in our society as well. That's the way it's supposed to be, and that's what keeps things balanced.

We don't NEED them for food, or testing. People are generally just too stubborn to change their diet, and big companies don't want to risk getting sued.

I believe in animal rights. But I'm not crazy. There are some things that we need animais for. animais have feelings just like humans but PETA goes too in trying to convey their ideas to people.

Duhh! animais are so cute and innocent, we need to protect them from other people or natural disasters!
I try to buy only products that say they weren't tested on animals(they have a little bunny sign on them). It's really cruel to experiment cosmetics on animals! The cure for cancer... maybe! But not freakin' make up!

This is a hard one. We do need to test things out, but I feel like we don't deserve this planet as much as animais do. They live to survive, and we just fuck things up, and it's not about the entire world for us. I think they derserve it more, not that I want to disappear....but, that's that human arrogance. animais don't have that. they just live!

I believe in animal testing for drugs and other science. If we didn't test our meds on animals, millions of people who could have been saved would die. But the moment we get sufficient technology to allow us to test drugs on machines, not animals, then switch. But for now, animal testing is necessary.

I do, however, think the animais should be treated mais humanely. They should be kept in better cages, given sedatives when needed, etc. This goes for things like cachorro, filhote de cachorro mills and pet stores, too. cachorro, filhote de cachorro mills should be shut down, because the cachorros need to be kept in much better conditions. That's why I'm against buying cachorros from pet stores - they all come from these shitty cachorro, filhote de cachorro mills.

I'm alright with eating animals, keeping them in zoos to study and breed them, owning them as pets, all that. Animal abuse though, is wrong. But that stuff isn't abuse.

Yes, I do believe in animal rights. animais have feelings just like people. They may not be able to articulate what they want most of the time, but they should have rights. They should NOT be tested on, EVER. Animal testing is inhumane and should be punishable por law.

Hell to the fucking yes! I live across the rua from a pet store and down the road from an animal hospital. I see a lot of abused animais or starved animais in my neighborhood and I am sick of it. My dog pêssego is one of the only healthy animais in the entire neighborhood. I mean there's only like 2 other healthy cachorros then all the gatos except for a select few have never even seen shelter or the clinic. I feel seariously bad for them but what am I to do? I can't help all of them por myself. And I have tried calling local shelters and stuff like that. Biggest waste of time in my life. They didn't even care. Not once have they ever come out to try and help. Me and my neighbors from the pet store are the only ones helping them and they have to manage helping customers also.

Lets just say I like animais but if a member of my family becomes a dedicated PETA activist I will disown them and make their life hell. (meaning I approve of hunting, farming and eating meat, testing probably not unless it's an animal product.)

I believe that people should always look for the kindest way to treat animals. If they are pets, I think they should be bred in a healthy way and not massed produced in cachorro, filhote de cachorro mills. They should also be well fed and not mistreated.
When they are raised for food, I think when the time comes for them to die, it should be as quick and painless as possible.
Using animais to conduct testing for cosmetics seems to me as frivilous and unnessary. I do agree with the humane use of scientific testing to find new medications. Where would modern medicine be without such testing?
In the end, animais are here for the sake of man. Also mankind has the responsibilty to watch over them. But animais do not have human rights. People have the responsibility act to be humainly.
