maybe the 2012 thing is a metaphor: of course the world will end, but it is happening slowly every dia unless you help do your little bit to stop it.

Just because there was a movie made out of this theory doesnt mean the world is going to end for real.
The calendar is supposed to stop counting por December 31st of this ano and i can tell you right now this rumor is fake.
I suppose most people got the apresentação, show, gig from that episode of Family Guy called "Da Boom" when the world ended at the beginning of 2000.
That explains why these rumors are going around possibly because people are so worried about pollution, air quality, and any kind of chaos that will happen.

There's no telling when the world will end. Worrying and thinking about it is a waste of time; there's nothing we can do about it either way. Setting a encontro, data for it to end is silly.
