Editor's note: This one was the least fun to write so far, for me. I planned the first part, but for this part, i had to make stuff up as i went along. Not a good idea.


It was almost three in the afternoon. It was warm out and Dash watched confusingly as Dave and Jesse came over to the exibit with a cage.

"Well, damned Buffalo Zoo says they'll be later then they thought, so we decided to send our pinguim first 'fore they got 'ere. Not comin' 'til six, I think," Dave informed.

"Okay. Well, lets get this over with. I think this pinguim is gonna put up a fight." Jesse said as he looked around...

Private: I'm soo happy that you saved Marlene, Skippa'!
Kowalski: I'm sure she'll appreciates it.
Rico: Mmm-hmm!

Private: So, What was your fortune? Mine was I will learn to overcome my fear. The only problem is, which one?
Kowalski: Mine is that I will make an invention that'll ruin everything.
Skipper: Didn't that happen before?
Kowalski: I guess I'll do it again.

Private: That's nice Rico! Skippa', what's yours?
Skipper: Umm, Well, It's kinda like...

(Marlene enters)

Marlene: oi guys!
Private: oi Marlene! We're talking about the fortunes Darla told us!...

Note: My teacher gave us another creative composição literária assignment! This is what I’m submitting to her. The topic is a story that conveys two of the following themes: appearance versus reality, betrayal, manipulation/deception, jealousy, and hate. I chose pretty much all of them except jealousy. It’s also humanized.

Thomas laid back on a cot with his arm crossed over his eyes. The sounds of arguing Danes in the neighboring cells and guards beating at their cell bars with their batons to try and quiet them filled the stale air.

He lay in silence, thinking to himself how stupid...

Things remained quiet for the rest of that evening. Skipper had returned to his usual position in his bunk, although he had mais thought in his expression as opposed to the blank, indescribable one from before.

After a good night’s sleep, Kowalski awoke to a shuffling sound from below about an hora before the alarm. When he rubbed his eyes and looked over the side of his bunk, his mind snapped into full awareness at what he saw.

Skipper had managed to grab his wheelchair from seguinte to his bunk and sit it parallel to it. After locking the wheel closest to him, he reached across the wheelchair...
