It had been a long dia after the loss of a race to the lemurs yesterday evening. Now freshening up their new tricked out car Rico sat at the wheel, a yellow dirtied rag gripped in his flipper to the dash board. He grumbled briefly out of regretful spite, pondering how he could have done better the other night.

The garagem was poorly lit, scratched up grey concrete walls and what seemed to be starlight beaming ever so lightly down...

So this morning I did my daily staring at Skipper while he sleeps, then watched him drink his peixe coffee, then watched him preform for the humans. Happy morning!

The lemurs came over to our habitat once the humans left.

I still miss them. All of them. I miss how Kowalski always thought of some long, winded explanation to things, Private's giggle and girly obsessions, Rico's amor of dynamite. I miss how close I felt to them, how sometimes I could almost read their minds. I miss joking around with them, watching filmes together, and Shirtless Ninjas.
Isn't it unfair how we never realize how much these things mean to us until they're gone?
I wish I had thought about it before--before what happened. I suppose now your saying: "what did happen? C'mon, Skipper, you can trust us. Tell the story!"
