The one million ano later thing is the only problem. It shouldn't be so long, but not like 2 days. Maybe 150 years or so?

But common boy saves the girl is surprisingly entertaining to read. Perhaps you could switch something up to where a guy goes to save a girl he likes, but she doesn't really know him and it ends up where she has to save him.
