I really don't know, but I see people blaming the states for her being found guilty. It was the one particular jury that made that call, not the entire country or justice system. There's only so many people in a jury, not the whole country can sit in and make the decision. It wasn't the country's fault.

I don't think she should've been charged not guilty, but I can understand why it happened that way and even though she wasn't found guilty, most people will think of her as the woman who murdered her own child, plus her parents will probably never speak to her again and she won't be able to get a job. Seems like enough punishment to me.

From what I understand of the case, it did seem accidental, so I don't think she should be charged with murder... But I haven't been following the case and don't know the specifics, so I'm not going to make an actual, concrete judgement.
