Follow the news but less closely than two years ago. Was honestly affecting my mental health - reading stuff about climate change and how we're going the literal opposite direction to what we should be... was so, so saddening and frustrating.

Making people feel so hopeless/fatigued that they disengage from news and the political process is a fav tactic of the more authoritarian breed of politicians, and yeah honestly it's worked at least to some extent on me and people I know.
