While my first reaction would initially be, "OMG, now I can talk to an animal! This is so cool!", I also know that the minute that little phase of mine wore off, I'd honestly be a little scared. Realistically speaking, if they evolved into the same state as us, that would indicate that some of them could be dangerous. Not saying they all would be, but you get the point.

I love animals to death, but a part of me would be terrified if this actually happened. As much as I'd love it.

Honestly, despite the current outcome, I really doubt that many people would be indifferent if their pets suddenly assumed Human position and started conversing with them !!!!

It would be interesting. If they were anthropomorphic, then they wouldn't have to take our crap any more, which would be great.
