I'm in something called Honors Club at school.Each ano we go on a trip,this ano to St.Louis.We left Thursday,April 29th 2010.
The ride took like six hours.The reason it took so long,was because one of the bus's air conditioning messed up,and we had to sit at a gas station for an hour.
We finally got up there and went to Nascar Speed Park.It was awesome.We got to ride go-carts and I won the race.Then,it was time for dinner.We ate hotdogs.And word of advice,if you ever go there DO NOT EAT THEM!!!!They are NASTY.Then,I went to a gift comprar and got a azedar, azedo powder stic.I got some tokens,and used them to get a pair of dice and a rubber duck(not much to choose from)Then,my best friend,her mom,my mom,her friend,My mom's friends son,his friend and I all played laser tag.It was so cool!
At ten,when it closed,we went to check in at the Drury Inn.Not the best hotel I've stayed in.I roomed with my friend and her mom.
The seguinte day,we got up at 6:30 am and got breakfast.It was pretty good.Then,we went to the St.Louis Science Center.It was HUGE,but I am from a small town,so lots of things seem big.There was a model of a dinosaur that moved and all that.Then I went to Build-A-Dino and got a dino,a sabertooth,and a mammoth.I saw a mummy baby.Kinda creepy.Then,my group saw a movie in Omnimax,and it was sorta like 3-D,it looked like everything was in front of me,and all around me.The movie was about Kilamanjaro.Then,we went to a very pricey gift shop,and all I could affored was a tiny bag of polished rocks.
After we left we went to eat and the Hard Rock.Well,the bus drivers had bad directions and we went in the Ghetto and some people said they saw people with armas and all that.We finally got to Hard Rock and danced to YMCA twice.The comida was good,a lot better than the speed park's.I got a t-shirt,a necklace,and a teddy urso with a mo-hawk.When we were going back to the buses,I saw a creepy dude on a bench,so I started running to catch up with my friends.
After that,we went to the Gateway Arch.Well,we got bad directions AGAIN and crossed over a bridge into Illinois.We FINALLY got there and we couldn't even go in it.We just went to the place below it.I got a model of the arch,a hoodie,and a bag,from the gift comprar and por the time we got checked out it was time to leave,and we didn't get to do anything else.
Then,we went to the Cardinals game.I'm not that into sports,but I was having a good time.I got a foam finger.Then everything went downhill.It statred raining so we had to go under the bleacher things.Loud thunder,bright lightning,and a tornado warning.Then we had to leave,and we had to go down two escalators which make me dizzy.Just to sit in the bus for what seemed like hours.Some girls were crying,about every one was scared.Mrs.Tammy,a chaperone,made everyone happy and laughing,though,because she was shaking her big butt in people's faces.
Then,we had to run across the street,in the pouring rain,to a carregando dock.I thought I heard a tornado.My niece and I were crying on each others shoulders.A teacher was crying.They were letting us go back to the bus,after what seemed like hours,but about 2 seconds,we had to go back and stay for hours again.Finally,we got to leave and go to the hotel.It was quite a night.
The seguinte day,we went to Six Flags.I amor six flags!I got lots of autographs,and souvineers.We had chicken sandwiches for lunch,and my friends and I were feeding our pão to a ganso that was hissing like a cat.It was strange.Then I played some games,rode some rides,and got an airbrushed hat.When we left we got about 1/2 of a mile away,and a bus broke down.We had to go to McDonalds to eat,and then we stayed,walking around at a gas station for five hours.We were supposed to go início that day,but we had to stay another night.We had to get up the seguinte dia at four thirty in the morning!When we got back to my town at three it was flooded.And then my mom told me that there WAS a tornado that night,but before she told me that there wasn't one.Even if there was or wasn't it was QUITE a trip.
