I need help beating Clair in SoulsSilver

The easiest way to beat Clair is if you chose Totodile as your starter pokemon, por the time you get Croconaw, you get to Goldenrod City , go to the department store and you can teach it Blizzard. Or if you still have Ice Fang. Dragon type pokemon do not stand a chance against Ice type moves. Good luck.
