I know, they totally changed the plot. Some stuff in the movie I liked better and some of the book. They're both pretty awesome, you gotta admit

Yeah I think the movie was a mistake and I would like if they re-amde it and made it better. But on the movie it says it BASED after the book so it's a story thats have it's roots in the true story and have been made almost completly new story. I'm not happy whit it eighter but thats how it is :(

I thought it was horrible too! And the fighting was so cheap!

My mom thought it was awesome but I think it sucked, the hellhounds were like gray cats...

Luke didn't set that escorpião on Percy, and Luke also wasn't as hot as they'd described >:|

It was a horrible movie with horrible atuação and bad plotline that barely had to do with the book...

I liked the casting of Luke, but his character didn't have the hot Luke personality.

That's sorta what I meant... Annabelle rminded me of this horrible mary su I read about once... her name was Orphelia and she was from '13 Days to Midnight' por someone I can't remember...

I totally agree with you. They just shouldnt have done it. Did you know that they cant even make the segundo one now since they jacked up the first one? Rick Riordan should have gotten mais say in the movie choices. Oh and the thing I hate the most... Is who they picked for the part of Annabeth. Her blonde hair and grey eyes, beleive it or not are a huge aspect of the books. Just a horrible idea

The movie was horrible! I mean not even funny horrible like creepy horrible! There wasn't a plot, they took away really good parts, ( like when Clarisse almost drowned in toilet water ) and added bad ones, They ruined the book and what could have been an amazing movie. I am truly disappointed. On the up side the adult casting was very good I was very surprised. the adult cast doesn't count the teenagers. Question? Did anyone but me realize that percy looked to be the same age as Luke?

i wished they didnt make that movie. it destroys the reputation of the series. the movie was sooo off topic that i didnt even recognize it anymore. and some of my fave characters arent there. that was a real disappointment.

They screwed it all up. I've come up with lists of what's wrong with it, it's gotten me that mad >.<
The whole plot line was ruined. Percy was 12 in the first book, and in the movie he looked 16, which was when he was supposed to save Olympus in the very LAST book. They completely forgot Clarisse, and it was just...an absolute fail. You could fill up thirty artigos with the things wrong with it.

Yes!!!! I totally agree. The movie sucked, they did not even keep the original story line it was like they gutted everything from 20 min in. I spent the whole movie whispering to my friend about ways they stuffed it up...
It was such a let down I had, had that encontro, data since a ano before and was so exited and then they released that crappy movie...such let down.

I do. I mean it was a complete waste of time and money. Id be okay if they just skipped a few parts, but Im wondering if the creator even read the book?
