TIME: 4:45PM
LOCATION: SOMEWHERE ABOVE SOUTH AMERICA

The penguins where asleep, crammed together in the little o espaço there was.

Except for Skipper. He got little sleep due to the lack of room. He kept himself busy por daydreaming. He dreamed of his início back in Central Park, imagined what Ecuador would look like, and most importantly, he thought about Heidi. He kept on reminding himself that the whole reason why they are heading to another continent and into the unimaginable was Heidi.

Skipper missed her. He could almost hear her voice: "Never swim alone, Skipper." He smiled. Probably the first time he smiled since She died.

"We are doing this for Heidi," Skipper thought to himself.

Then the conductor walked into the seating area. He picked up an intercom and said, "We will be arriving in 10 minutes. Hold tight until then."

Then he walked back towards the front of the plane and exited the room.

Skipper was excited. They are landing soon.

Skipper shook Kowalski awake. "Hey, get up. We're going to be there in a few."

Kowalski opened his eyes. He yawned and observed his surrounds confusingly.

"Uh, Skipper, where are we?"

"We are on the plane to Ecuador, remember? We are landing in a few minutes."

"Wha-- Oh yeah. We're landing already?"

"Yeah. You were asleep for almost the whole time."

The plane seemed to be dropping height. Eventually after about five minutes, it touched ground. The conductor entered the room again.

"We are now in Quinto. Stay seated until the doors are opened." The conductor repeated that statement in Spanish.

Skipper and Kowalski woke up the others, and Skipper explained how they finally arrived.

After what seemed like forever, the doors to the plane opened and the passengers grabbed their belongings and exited the aircraft.

Skipper and the crew weren't far behind. When they were finally out of the plane, the penguins analyzed their new environment. They were in the middle of a city. Not a big city, it was rather small compared to New York. But nevertheless, a city.

They slid on their stomachs towards two adjacent buildings. They hid between them.

Skipper looked off into the distance. On the hills far off in the horizon, he could see the jungle.

"Um, Kowalski, did Heidi say exactly what she wanted to do here?" Skipper asked.

"Uh.. no actually. Maybe... we could do some sightseeing."

Rico seemed especially happy with this idea and nodded in agreement. He wanted to know what it was like here.

Manfredi seemed nervous. "Um, I'm not so sure if that's a good idea. We might get caught."

Skipper spoke up again, "...Which is why we are hiding."

Finally Johnson spoke up. "Hmm, maybe I should lead this time. I'm older, so I should be mais experienced and make sure we stay unseen."

Of course Skipper wasn't happy with this arrangment. "We won't be seen. And being the oldest means nothing. I'm actually trained to be the leader, while you aren't. So shut up and follow my orders."

Johnson glared at Skipper, "Okay, fine. You lead. But I'm not listening to your orders. He started waddling towards the street, out of the hiding place.

Skipper watched in horror. "Johnson, you idiot, you'll be seen!"

Johnson ignored him. Then all the sudden, a woman looked down, saw Johnson, and shouted, "Pingüino!"

People stopped walking and looked at what the lady was pointing at. They started shouting in rapid Spanish. Johnson ran as fast as he could back towards Skipper and the others. People followed him, and noticed Skipper and the rest.
A man shouted, "Hay cuatro más pingüinos aquí!"

The police came and saw the penguins. Skipper turned to Johnson, "Nice job, smartass."

Johnson gulped.

A cage dropped over the penguins. They struggled, trying to get out. A police man held what looked like a gun, and pointed it at Kowalski. Kowalski squealed. The man pulled the trigger, and a dart pierced through the air and puntured Kowalski's side. He fell to the ground, unconscious.

"KOWALSKI!" Skipper shouted.

mais darts fired, and Johnson, Manfredi, and Rico fell hard, also out cold. One last dart shot out of the tranquilizer and right into Skipper's chest. He felt dizzy. He couldn't hear anything. Everything was in slow motion. He saw the policeman walk towards the cage. Then his eyes rolled back and he dropped to the ground.
