She was looking at herself in the mirror. She couldn't believe her eyes. She never thought that her life would come to this and, even if she had, she thought it would be just part of some dream or imagination from her fairy tale loving younger self. borboletas fluttered in her stomach from being excited and nervous.
"This will definitely be the best dia of your life, Monique," Marlene said, remembering her wedding dia with Skipper.
"What if things don't go well? Maybe he'll change his mind at the last minute, maybe something could go wrong," Monique stuttered, thinking about the relationship problems she's heard of.
Marlene was trying to calm her down.
"Nothing will go wrong, Mo. You two have worked things out a lot of times in the past, and that won't change in the future. He's also the one who proposed, so he wouldn't change his mind at the last minute. Besides, he's a lucky man. I even heard from the best man that your groom is feeling lucky," Marlene mentioned.
"That's only because the best man is Skipper," Monique pointed out.
They both giggled and continued preparing.
Private was playing the piano and started humming along. As he was playing, petals from maçã, apple blossoms came falling on the piano one por one.
The groom, Kowalski, was looking down the aisle while doing a shockingly impressive job at keeping his excitement on the inside. His best man, Skipper, seemed pretty proud of him on this big day. As Kowalski saw Monique walking down the aisle, his face lit up with a growing bright smile. He also saw that Monique looked a little nervous, but he also saw she was pretty happy.
Monique was walking slowly and steadily down the isle and everytime she felt nervous about it, she saw the expression on Kowalski's face and, for a while, she loses her nervousness.
As she walked up to Kowalski, her thoughts start to make her scared, but without the wedding dress getting soaked with sweat.
I am in the presence of the man of my dreams during the happiest dia of my life so far. But, what if things don't work out?
As if answering Monique's thoughts, Kowalski gently placed his hand on her shoulder and smiled at her, making her face turned into her favorito color: red.
"Don't worry, Monique. Everything is going to be just fine," Kowalski explained softly.
Just then, Maurice came up as the priest and started the ceremony.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate the bond of Kowalski Peterson and Monique estrela in holy matrimony," he started.
Monique started to have a blossoming smile on her face.
"Kowalski, do you take Monique to be your lawfully wedded wife for better or worse, in sickness and health, till death do you part?" Maurice asked.
When Kowalski said his part, he was looking at Monique and making sure she hears what he's saying.
"Yes, I do. No matter what happens, no matter what troubles come ahead of us, I'll always amor her and be proud of the chemical bond i share with her," he said with a smile.
All of a sudden, the fear and worry that made Monique tense up with stress just left permanently.
"And do you, Monique, take Kowalski to be your husband?" Maurice turned to ask.
Monique was looking deep into Kowalski's eyes and feels braver and mais confident than she ever before.
"Yes, Maurice, I do. Up until now, i never really thought of myself as one of the lucky ones that would find the man of her dreams and experience this fantastic day. I always thought it would be nothing but a dream, but now, as i look into the eyes of the man of my dreams, i realize that this is not a dream, but a dream come true," Monique exclaimed, making Kowalski's smile blossom.
"Then, por the power vested in me, and por the name of the sky spirits, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride," Maurice concluded.
As Kowalski lifted Monique's veil, revealing her face, he held on to her hands tightly.
"I've loved you for as long as we've been together, Monique. There is no doubt that I'll continue to amor you in all the years that are ahead of us," Kowalski whispered so only Monique could hear.
As he leaned in and kissed her, she felt her coração beating very fast, but no longer from worry. He was right: they have loved each other for a long time. If they made it this far, they can go even farther, no matter the odds.

Private's phone ranged seguinte a the pinguim said "Is you're refrigerator running?" "I don't know," said private. "If it is you'd better catch it!" The voice said.
Private said angrily "It could be Kowalski,Rico,or Lily" he complained. But as soon as he said it Skipper ran in. me and Private gasped like if the winkies were going out of business.
