when getting writers block for stories, depending on the part of the story, what I do is try to look up mangá that focuses on that type of stuff,or just watch tv. either way works. also checking out mangá graphic novels from your public biblioteca can help give you ideas. not only for plot lines but also for japenese gorl and boy names, to help give the comiuc a mais authentic likness in it.
You could base things on personal experiences and things you are interested in. Reference your life and things you see. But try to do it in the most interesting and unique way you can.
But make sure people can understand it without having to experience all the same things as you.
The story should connect with people because it has some hidden grains of truth and some of your personality.
The downside is that you care mais what people think of your work.
