Meg entered the cozinha and saw how Mrs. Jones was bleeding over her entire body. Cas was holding her arms and stared at her.
“Cas?” Meg asked careful, breaking Cas’ concentration. He let go of Mrs. Jones and turned his head to Meg.
“Are you sure you want to be here, right now, Meg?” he asked a little annoyed. “It’s about to get messy”
“Are you kidding?” Meg scoffed. “I was a demon for centuries. I amor messy”
Cas smiled an evil smile, one that Meg had never seen on his face before, and his eyes were cold as he looked back at Mrs. Jones.
“You know you’re going to die, right?” he asked in a serious tone as if he was a doctor who tells his patient they have cancer.
Mrs. Jones scarcely nodded as tears rolled over her eyes and cheeks.
“Is there anything you want to say before you die?” Cas asked softly, wiping away her tears.
Mrs. Jones blinked and swallowed, before she whispered: “Don’t kill me. I understand that what I did hurt you, but Jerrick needs me. I’m all he’s left. He’s just a boy. It’s not right to take his mother from him”
Cas was taken aback from that declaration of amor from mother to son.
“I won’t tell anyone I’ve seen you. I promise” Mrs. Jones insisted.
“I know you won’t” Cas replied and he conjured a pocket knife. “ ‘Cause I won’t let you” He forced Mrs. Jones to open her mouth and cut off her tongue. Mrs. Jones’ screaming filled the entire house and Jerrick wanted to go help his mom, but he was locked up in his room.
Cas stood and signed at Meg. “We’re done here. Let’s go”
“You’re letting her live?” Meg asked surprised.
“She’s right. I can’t kill a mother” Cas replied shrugging. “Now come on, let’s go” He walked to the front door and Meg closed it.
As soon as the door was shut Mrs. Jones felt her body heating up from the inside. Her skin turned red and blisters appeared again.
Cas had lied to her. He wasn’t going to let her live. The kind man who had saved her son from dying an untimely death was gone and all that was left of him was an unscrupulous monster.

“Damon, I feel sick” Elena moaned. The racing had made her feel nauseous. And her neck beat painful. Damon braked, but kept Elena in his arms.
He examined Elena’s wound. “That looks awful”
“It hurts” she complained. Her face was withdrawn and she gagged, but didn’t throw up. Damon pulled her up and held her with one arm. His other arm he brought to his mouth and bit. He held the wound against Elena’s lips. “No” Elena groaned. “I don’t want that. It’s disgusting”

Jeremy lied in his bed, his eyes squeezed. He would force himself to sleep. He had been running for hours, helped Alaric with some chores, cleaned up his room, and now he was really tired. Sleeping shouldn’t be a problem. He would give in to the night.

Rachel stroke her fingers through her hair. “Oh my God. What have I done?” she mumbled agitated. “Think, Rachel, think” She looked around. Then she grabbed Gabe’s feet and dragged him to the farthest corner.
She ran to the stairs and went to the cozinha where she searched the drawers for matches. In her panic she forgot she had been living here for about twenty years and the matches lay in the segundo drawer seguinte to the cupboard underneath the sink ever since. She pulled it open and grabbed the matches. Then she opened the fridge and took out a bottle of Malt Whisky. She ran back downstairs to the body. She opened the bottle of Malt and poured its content over the body. Then she stroke a match and let it fall down and watch how Gabe went up into flames.
As she watched him burn a sudden agony fulfilled her body and she dropped the bottle. She fell down on her knees and felt her body contracting and convulsing while she screamed.
