Just rewatched a few episodes from season 1 eg 1x19,1x07 and 1x17. And I just amor how even back then DE still had a connection,an understanding<3 I actually amor season 1 for DE,they were just so new and it was just the begi.ning of them. And I gotta say the slap scene in 1x07 is one of their hottest and I amor how he doesn't hurt her,when if anyone else had tried that he would have snapped their necks! Okay, there's this one thing i noticed while watching 3.10! The plot where Klaus threatened to take away Jeremy's life if what he needed (read his family) is not delivered to him. Stefan had Klaus' family and Elena went to him to get it and save her brother. Oddly enough, this plot so much parallels the one in 1.21. Remember, Isobel kidnapping Jeremy and threatning to kill him if that device wasn't given to her. Here Damon had this device, and Elena went to him to get it so as to rescue Jeremy. i have just seen fotografias from 3x12 , the episode is about bonnie and on topo, início of that she takes elena with her on a road trip so no DE, and stefan will be back in salvatore house so no DE for sure.....the only thing that looks interesting is that it seems that damon and klaus are trying to convince stefan to do something probably to give the coffins back , check out the pictures damon and in particular klaus look so good, i amor what joseph morgan is wearing

It kind of makes me sad that Damon still believes that Elena will never be with him-she'll always be his brothers girl. I do believe however, is that while Damon keeps believing this, Elena (after that kiss that took her breath away) will really start to think "I am I falling in amor with Damon?" and I do think as well, that as the season progresses, he will start to realize that Elena won't always be his brothers girl-Stefan had that chance and he blew it after he tried to get revenge.... 1 of the many things IL about DE, is how damon not only loves elena but he also tries to have a connaction with her family/and sometimes stand up if they treat her bad(jeremy & alaric) ok rick is his friend, but he tried with jeremy like in 1x22 when jeremy was treating elena like crap he stood up to jeremy and told him not treat elena bad (all stefan did is say "its non-of ur business"and if he's going to be mad at somebody it should be at him, also in 1x22 when anna...
