I haven't watched the premiere yet, since I leave in the UK but I've watched DE's scenes and Im so happy!:D They had flirty, sweet, funny etc scenes. One thought that came to mind immediately in the colar scene was the I amor you of 2x08. I'm convinced Elena remembers that, after dying in 2x21. She doesn't want to admit it yet. I believe that Elena fell in amor with Stefan which was rushed btw but she fell in amor with who she believed Stefan to be. Not saying he's a bad guy or anything but he kept so much of himself hidden from her. Basically their relationship was built on lies. Whereas with Damon Elena developed a friendship and cares deeply for Damon knowing who Damon truly is. And doesn't that say a lot? I posted this on the rant thread but wanted to put it here too. In light of the phone call scene upsetting some DE fans, I wanted to say something. The colar scene was actually really uplifting for me. I believed Elena when she said she was happy when Damon gave her the necklace. Damon is the only one who can make her happy and smile like that, even in the toughest of situations. That was enough to do it for me. I'm proud of Delena and always will be. Okay so for me, this premiere was no where NEAR as mind-blowing as S2, but I think that's to do with the million cliffhangers we had last time. So i'll let them off!
LOVED our Delena scenes. Prolonged eye-contact, a closeness, fantastic chemistry as always. And OH MY DAYS, Elena actually SMILED a genuine smile awithDamon in the colar scene. That almost never happens to her lol!

I loved the S3 ep :D

Damon has grown so much. When he was going to ask Andie to get him mais wine and she shot him down I fully expected him to compel her, but he just went to do it himself (maybe because he heard Elena but it seemed like he heard that after he was up).
And I amor how he didnt use Stefan killing Andie to try and turn Elena against Stefan. He really just wants his brother back and for Elena to be happy.

After the last episode of season 2, I have the belief that Stefan loves his brother much mais than Elena. I was really touched that even though he showed no emotion when Damon mentioned her, he instantly insisted that he should be the one to get Damon to stop following them. He knew Klaus would most likely kill Damon. He still loves his brother. It kind of got to me. Klaus goes on to say that as Stefan feeds more, that amor will be easier to let go of. According to vampire-diaries.net, last night's premiere got about 3 million viewers, back UP from last season. Apart from the Stefan/Klaus ripper story, DE have been promoted mais than anything else in the run-up to 3x01; most of the interviews, promos, webclips, and new episode stills have been about them. Lizzie_job5, you should not give up hope. No matter how cheesy, boring, and predictable Stefan is going to be, just hand in there. We have Damon and a couple of shirtless scenes. For Stelena, they are not going to be together forever. It's a triângulo so DE needs to start, or else this series is just full of lies.

No matter how far Stefan is, the writers always have to make him either look good or be with Elena. He doesn't want to be found, so leave him alone. Damon should have told Elena that. Now, to make it even worse, Stefan had to call Elena and make hot on his trail again. She is bound to kill herself to find a vampire that will never die, and does not want to leave the blood side. Even thought she sees the murders, she still think Stefan is a saint.
