"Perfume" by Patrick Suskind (in English) so far it's shaping up to be one of the finest books I've encountered - the language is beautiful (I guess that's thanks to the translator as well as the author), and it's certainly a step apart from a lot of books I've read before.
Let's see, I just finished up the Shiver Trilogy (BEST.BOOKS. EVER.), I'm starting the Wake Trilogy by Lisa McMann, I'm reading both the Kissed by an Angel and Dark secrets series by Elizabeth Chandler, I'm finishing up Looking For Alaska by John Green (DFTBA!), and I have about seven other series I'm reading right now. X) I may be slightly obsessed...
reading:
1) The Book Thief by Markus Zusak... realllyyyy great book :) recommend it fully!
2) The Balefire series. Book #3: A Feather of Stone... also really good.
3) Fallen by Lauren Kate... pretty good so far.
4) Rereading Vampire Academy series. on book #4: Blood Promise... one of the best series ive EVER read <333
^ That's what I'm reading now, too! :D I'm rereading the entire series for the fifth time or something, and I'm currently on Prisoner of Azkaban. I've got so much respect for Jo Rowling. <3
I'm also reading a nonfiction book about the Titanic, titled Titanic's Last Secrets: The Further Adventures of Shadow Divers John Chatterton and Richie Kohler. (Lengthy title, huh?) Anyway, it's interesting, but I can never read a nonfiction book without reading a fiction at the same time. ^_^
Just finished The Complete Book of Ghosts By Paul Roland and A Friend Like Ben By Julia Romp and now I'm reading The Summoning By Kelley Armstrong and Ghost Light By Joseph O'Connor
