I READ: because one life isn't enough, and in the pages of a
book I can be anybody;

Meaning that books are an escape path. It doesn't matter if you are the mousy girl that blends into the background. Or the boy who is never seen without a book. When you read, you become someone else, whether you realize it or not.

I READ: because the words that build the story become mine,
to build my life;

Meaning that you learn when you read. It doesn't, matter if the book is fantasy, or realistic fiction, or science fiction, you'll learn something from it. Take 'celerity' for an example. ten bucks says that no one knows what it means. Celerity is a synonym for rapidity, or speed.

I READ: not for happy endings but for new beginnings; I'm just
beginning myself, and I wouldn't mind a map;

Exactly. some of the best books have sad endings. Like Old Yeller, or Where the Red feto, samambaia Grows. Bittersweet endings. Without those types of books, there would be no variety. We would end up with happy endings everywhere, and life isn't like that. Sometimes a dose of reality is healthy.

I READ: because I have friends that don't and young though
they are, they're beginning to run out of materials;

Sad reality. Nobody seems to have the time for it anymore.

I READ: because every journey begins at the library, and it's
time for me to start packing;

I READ: because one of these days I'm going to get out of this
town and I'm going to go everywhere and meet everyone, an I
want to be ready.

Michael Talbot has woven a tale of the vampire unlike any you have read. He places them historically in the development of the human race, identifying them as artists, popes, collectors and inventors. He depicts them as the curators of all things important to human kind. It is the way they obtain those things worth protecting that is the meat of his book, The Delicate Dependency. Tantalize (Cynthia Leitich Smith) was an awsome book. I really enjoyed it. It had me guessing what was going to happen until the very end!

Here is a piece about the book:

Quincie Morris has never felt mais alone. Her hybrid werewolf first amor threatens to embark on a rite of passage that will separate them forever. And just as she and her uncle are about to unveil Austin's red-hot vampire-themed restaurant, a brutal murder leaves them scrambling for a chef. Can Quincie transform the new hire, Henry Johnson, into a culinary Dark Lord before opening night? Will he be able to to wow the crowd in fake fangs, a cheap cape, and red contact lenses? Or is there mais to his earnest fresh face than meets the eye?

As human and preternatural forces clash a deadly amor triângulo forms and the line between predator and prey begins to blur. Who's playing whom? And how long can Quincie play along before she loses everything?

The amazing twilogy por Suzanne Collins is being made into a movie, and many people believe it will be bigger and better than Twilight.

Here's the trailer

link

Watch it and comment if you like it or not.
Also, I highly recommend to read the Hunger Games trilogy.

The genres of the film/ books is action.

Set in the near future, a girl called Katniss Everdeen volunteered to enter the Hunger Games, a game which is run por the government.
24 'tributes' will enter the arena and fight to the death until one person is remaining, who will be the winner.

Read Katniss' fights to stay alive as she battles the other 24 tributes to win her place as the winner.

Watch out for The Hunger Games, everyone will be talking about it within the following year.
Soren is born in the forest of Tyto,a tranquil kingdom where the celeiro Owls dwell. But evil lurks in the owl world,evil that threatens to shatter Tyto's peace and change the course of Soren's life forever.
Soren is captured and taken to a dark and forbidding canyon. It's called an orphanage,but Soren believes it's something far worse. He and his friend Gylfie know that the only way out is up. To escape,they will need to something they have never done before-fly.
And so begins a magical journey. Along the way,Soren and Gylfie meet Twilight and Digger. The four owls band together to seek the truth and protect the owl world from unimaginable danger.

Rule 2: DONT SPEAK TO INVISIBLE FAERIES: Now faeries are stalking her. One of them, Keenan, who is equal parts terrifying and alluring, is trying to talk to her, asking perguntas Aislinn is...

"I still get nightmares," begins Johnny Truant, editor of House of Leaves ("House," por the way, always colored in blue). He goes on to explain how he stumbled upon the fateful document that would consume him. How Zampanò, an old and eccentric shut-in had left his critique of the Navidson Record scribbled on loose-leaf papers, book covers, and the backs of envelopes and even stamps scattered across his room. Johnny diligently collected all of the papers and organized them into the comprehensive thesis it was meant to be. It is an elaborate and detailed explanation of a documentary that, Johnny...

Eve knew the stories of the Fall, of a time before she wandered into the colony of Eden, unable to recall anything but her name.
