Okay if you all know such good books give me a series to read!

Percy Jackson and the Olympians is an amazing series. There are 5 books(the fifth just came out)The first is the Lighting Thief, the segundo is The Sea of Monsters, the third is The Titans Curse, the fourth is The Battle of the Labyrinth, and the fifth and last book is called The Last Olympian. They are about a boy that finds out that he is the son of Poisedon and all of his adventures as a demigod(aka half -blood) They are really funny and have a lot of adventure and keep you interested the whole way through!

DARREN SHAN!! the first saga has 12! books. it reads realy fast. the story is about a boy Darren Shan (he sucks at names!) & to save his friend he asked a vampire for help. the vampire said "i'll help him but only if you become my assistent" so darren agreed. his friend was saved but darren had to leave everything & everyone. he traveld with the vamp & learned stuff. how to servuve 101. one moment he went to the vampire mountain, & he must do 5 challenges or he would be killed. but eventualy he was turned into a vampire prince himself (a realy weird twist actualy) years later turns out that his best friend wants to kill him because he beliefs that darren & the vamp betrayd him. i wont say how it turns out, but there are so much twists. you think you figured everything out but no. htese are the books;

Darren shan also made another saga "Demonata" that's about demons & 3 kids who are part of an ancient wapon that can destroy or the human world or the demon world. 1 of the kids (a boy) is an werewolf, his family was killed por demons when they wanted to resque his sis, the 2e (also a boy) his brother was kidnapped por demons & he wanted to save him & so he entered the demonworld but later when he went back início his parents don't like him anymore so he runs awoy back to the demonworld the 3e (a girl) lived lang atrás & when the demons wanted to take over the world she saved the world but her soul got stuck in a cave & she stayd there for many of hunderd years & also the names suck. there are 9 books;

If you are into well detailed fiction books about fire-dancers and evil villans,I sugjest the INkheart trilogy! The trilogy goes in this order:
1. Inkheart
2. Inkspell
3. Inkdeath
Make sure you read them in the right order otherwise you wont under stand a thing! Here's a little sumery of the first one.
Meggie's father has the rare gift to read charecters out of books with his butiful voice. One night while leitura aloud to his 3 ano old daughter(Meggie) and lovely wife(Tresa but every one knows her as Resa),(before he knows of his talent)Mortimer(a.k.a Mo) reads out 3 main people of Inkheart(the book Inkheart is about another book called Inkheart. Confusing but it makes sence when you read it)the evil Basta and his leader Capricorn, and the fogo jugler/fire dancer/the-best-charecter-eva Dustfinger. Now 9 years later his past comes back to get him. and this is just the begening of his worrys. I'm going to atach a pix of the first book for ya. hope you read it and amor it!

The Lord of the Rings are great books...(I've heard) I myself am leitura them and They're Great!

A series that I've really enjoyed leitura is the "Tomorrow when the war began" series por John Marsden. It's about a group of Australian teens who go out for a camping trip only to find that a war broke out while they were in the outback. They decide that they will stay in hiding and try and fight back as their entire families have been taken hostage.
There are seven books in the series that follow the main character Ellen as she evolves from a young girl to a hardened soldier.
The series is very well written and I personally found a lot of wisdom in it. It is not about an actual historic war but the situations in it have definately happended somewhere in the world and that makes it extra interesting.
But the best part about all of it must be the different characters, who are very real and complex and you just bond with them instantly.

My recommendation for fantasia series enthusiasts is the link por Isobelle Carmody. Fascinating, detailed and exciting read. It follows the exploits of young Elspeth Gordie, a misfit in her post-apocalyptic village because she has mental talents that are considered to be "mutations." She's sent to Obernewtyn, a complex in the mountain which is part prison, part laboratory. Elspeth, along with her friends, uncover the secret motives of those who run the complex, and the darker mystery beneath it all.

If you like a little fantasia these books por Jennifer Fallon kept me facinated! All the books are interlinked, The deomn child series was written as a trillogy first, then she published the wolfblade trillogy as prequils after. Fine to read in order.

if ya want something thats NOT vampiros (geez fuckin vampires) The Honor Harrington series is good sci-fi. I also just finished The Change series por S.M. Stirling, it was really good- it's about all the technology in the world stops working and society falls apart, and people turn ravenous and form clans, and rebuild the earth and whatnot - was cool

I enjoy the Darren Shan books about vampires, but unlike the Twilight books, these books are about "real" vampires.
Also, the Indian in the Cupboard books are really good. I'm not really sure what order they came in, but I just read them.

Hmmm... the Uglies/Pretties/Specials/Extras series are REALLY good. That's pretty much all the good stuff I have, besides Harry Potter, Maximum Ride, and the Twilight series.

The best book I have ever read in my life is a stand alone called Unwinds. I know you don't like them but I thought I would mention it anyway.

Philip Pullman is my hero so I recommend His Dark Materials and the Sally Lockhart Mysteries.
His Dark Materials:

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is absolutely hilarious... if you haven't read them then don't judge por the movie.

I recommend the Twilight series:Twilight,New Moon,Eclipse,Breaking Dawn and Midnight sun-they are awesome.I also recommend the Stookie Stackhouse True Blood.I amor all vampire series.

A great series is the Alex Rider series por Anthony Horowitz, so far there are seven books out. They are Stormbreaker, Point Blanc, Skeleton Key, Eagle Strike, Scorpia, Ark Angel, and Snakehead.

I agree with cinders. Obernewtyn chrnicles is a fantastic book to read. Also, lol, i have a list here.
The tapestry. Its about a boy who has magical talents with others. He is sent to a school and realises he has a strange talent. Old magic. he and his friend have to try and stop an evil spirit thing taking over.
Also the eragon books
Tells a boys tale of how everyone suddenly depends on him to save the land. And how he learns his skills and learns amor and loss

If you want something mais realistic maybe try Da vinci code, or anjos and demons. They both talk about the church. anjos and demons talks about the war between science and religion. Da vinci code about the holy grail.

Um there is also, a thousand splendid suns. Which is a sad book about two womens friendship blossoming while they are married to a cruel and abusive man. This is set in afghanistan and talks how they war tore people apart.

Of course I'm going to mention the twilight series but you will find suggestions above lol.
um, you could try the cherub series. It talks about orphans who are taken in and are trained to be used as spies. And it talks of one boys missions.

Also seven ancient wonders. It talks about the fight between nations and trying to gain iternal power. And the sequel six sacred stones talks about a dark sun planning to destroy the earth and a group of people trying to prevent it.
I would also recommend any books por Isobelle Carmody. She is a wonderful author thinking of different stories all the time.

Runaways- 6 teens who's parents make up of a group of villains called "The Pride." Just read it.
Fruits Basket- An orphaned girl moves in with 3 men who have a secret. They turn into animais of the zodiac! It's an amazing series. It's also the #1 shojo mangá in the US.
Cirque Du Freak- Horror series. Its a really good novel that is also hidiously disgusting. If you like vampiros doing the exact oposite of what they did in Twilight, you'll like this.
Justice League of America- I couldn't help but add this. Its really good. I'm a big sucker for superheros but that's just me. Really though, if you like old comic books, this one takes the cake!

OMG! you have to read the VAMPIRE ACADEMY SERIES

I read it and i loved it sooo much the 4th and 5th books aren't out yet but the first three are and when i finished the third one i nearly cryed because i had to wait so long before the seguinte one came out.

p.s the 4th one comes out august 26th 2009 I am counting the days!!!
