Kira. In the animê community, that word is most associated with killers, and are shown to be so with that name alone. However, only two of the most deadly antagonists in animê have taken this name (As far as I know). Those two are Light Yagami AKA Kira from the thriller animê Death Note, and Yoshikage Kira from the recently released action anime, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable. However, which of these Kira’s is the better Kira? Which one could defeat the other. Well, before we discuss that, let’s talk about the two for a moment, and see their abilities. Also, this list...

100 Rules of Anime

The laws of animê is a growing list of physical, universal, and natural phenomenon that seem to appear in various forms in all sorts of anime. The original intent was an effort to classify these incidents into a list of "laws" that explained how animê physics are different from our own (real?) world. It is our hope that you find them useful to studying Anime, or at the very least, worth good chuckle.

#1 - Law of Metaphysical Irregularity- The normal laws of physics do not apply.

#2 - Law of Differential Gravitation- Whenever someone or something jumps, is
thrown, or otherwise...

 Different BG
Different BG
1.) Artificial Enemy
This episode established that Shaft was animating it a bit mais than it needed. (They even put the hand there.) Also - as most animes do - it differs from the mangá and songs. It puts in Ayano and Shintaro scenes, and changes Shintaro's room from a small room to a gigantic one, complete with a big window. It also changes his computer from a regular size to an enormous screen, gives the terrorists freaky Joker masks, and throws Seto into the terrorist scene just for the fun of it.

2.) Kisaragi Attention
Whaaaat? Apparently the makers of this saw how much the fãs loved the...

1. abunai- dangerous. The term has a broader application in Japanese than a direct translation would suggest, being employed in situations where an English speaker would say "Duck!" or "Look out!" Another common usage is as a euphemism for "deviant," i.e. a "dangerous" relationship (abunai kankei).
2. ai- love.If a native speaker wanted to specify romantic love, he would use the character pronounced koi (or ren, depending on the context).
3. aite- opponent.Be careful, the word has many applications that are counter-intuitive. A mais literal leitura of the characters would be "the one whom I must...
