What animê did you misjudge?

Naruto/Naruto Shippuden (big time)
Cuticle Detective Inaba (I was expecting a type of police drama that I dislike, not the funniest animê I've ever seen)
Eyeshield 21 (I just honestly didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I do now)

Okay this is actually a weird story.
So a friend said that I should watch Free! because she thought it was definitely something that I would enjoy watching. So I went to watch the animê with my best friend but after seeing like 2 episodes we stoped.
And after that my best friend watched it on her own because I didn't want to watch it anymore.

I thought it was just going to be boring because there is too much fanservice and swimming (well duh it's a swimming anime) not enough plot.. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY I THOUGHT THAT...

But my best friends kept talking about it so I decided to give it another chance and I loved it! I really liked all of the characters.. normally there would be at least someone that I hate but nope they are all cool ^w^
And the story wasn't boring at all. I actually really like how strong their friendship is.

Shinseki no Kyojin/Attack on Titan. Based on the pictures, title, and what I'd heard . . . Gosh, I don't even know what exactly I was expecting anymore. I was for some reason thinking along the lines of technology and stuff. When I heard the words 'Attack on Titan' I got some reason thought of giant robots. And for some reason, pokemon? . . . Yeah. Strange. I thought it would be the exact opposite of what I like, and I stayed away from it for a long time. But of course, when I watched it, it turned out to be one of the most epic and well done animê I've ever seen, and it ranks high in my topo, início 10. This same thing has happened with other animê as well. So basically, I've learned to NEVER judge a book por its cover, or an animê before watching it AGAIN.

I expected Puella Magi Madoka Magica to be one of those animê series that put too much emphasis on the "power of friendship" theme. I am ashamed to say it but that judgement may have been due to its art style (different from the fã art displayed below). Little did I know that PMMM is one of the most truly moving animê series and one of the most absolutely beautiful in its concepts and the themes of drawn out despairing and self-discovering. Not only did I change my mind about the art style when I got a better look at it and saw how it was used to contrast what we see and what is actually Puella Magi Madoka Magica but the development seen in some of the heroines throughout whether they were broken por their situation or became stronger for someone else moved me to tears. It's still not for everyone but it meant a lot to me; therefore, I, myself can't help but gush about it all the time. I know that my descrição makes it sound cliche but it's really a one-of-a-kind gem in the world of anime. x3 <3

angel Beats. When I first saw pictures of it, to me it just looked to dull for me but when I watched it, it was pretty interesting.

Firstly, BROTHERS CONFLICT... I seriously thought that it was a rubbish theme - 13 brothers, all falling in amor with their step sister, when i saw it's ad on tv. I was getting bored one dia and no good was coming on any channel so i watched one of its episodes and actually, i would be lying if i said i didn't enjoy it.. :P

segundo of all, PRETTY RHYTHM series... when the first season (aurora dream) was about to begin on animax, it's ad was so so so girly that i thought i won't like it, but, i was proved wrong again. I admit it was quite girly but there was nothing about it that i didn't like.

Ok, I promise, the last one - SHAKUGAN NO SHANA... I really thought that it had too much of the sobrenatural content. But the first and segundo season were not that bad... Yes, the last season was nice too but still, there was so much action, in fact, only action. It's ending was very nice and all it's songs are very awesome (i just had to mention it) !!!

Nanaka 6/17. Nobody had ever heard of it, so I thought it had to be terrible and wouldn't be worth watching. Boy was I wrong.

when i saw OP first few eps i thought it was a booooring anime......i didnt like its animation as well.......then my brother Bp......he said just be patient..the mais eps u pass the mais interesting it gets..........i took his word and continued watching.....and the mais eps i passed i amazed thinking my bro is right.........bcz OP started getting mais and mais interesting.........now OP is in one of my topo, início 3 animes........hee he eh

if i missed that animê it will be a great loss for me.........

after that i recommended this animê to many friends of mine some of them refused without watching.......im not telling their name and i told them as a challenge to watch some episode which i told them to watch they took my word and watched now they r crazy fãs of OP like me...........all credits to OP.........and still OP is interesting and its still getting mais and mais interesting........he he eh

One Piece is a great animê with great comedy.....action ...adventure.......great story line.........

and action scenes are the best especially action scenes of luffy, zoro, mihawk, shanks, whitebeard, sabo, Law.......there is more........eh he ehhe..

The Legend of Legendary Heroes, because we all know that I don't gush over it enough. But seriously, when I saw the name, I just kept scrolling. The Legend of Legendary Heroes? Can you pick a stupider name?? The front picture wasn't helping either, so I pegged it as a generic fantasia animê and moved right along. The seguinte day, I found myself in the same spot, staring at that ridiculously-named show with nothing else to watch. So, naturally, I decided to flip on episode one. At least I'd have something other than Kiba to rant about, right? WRONG. I fell so far in amor with that series por the end of episode one that I was sitting there in shock. The characters, plot, setting; they weren't ground-breaking in uniqueness, but they were charming and interesting and really likable. Now, months after I've finished it, I can honestly say that The Legend of Legendary heroes is one of the best fantasia animê that I've ever seen and gave me some awesome characters. The name is still stupid.
