I watched both Dragon Ball Z and Fairy Tail and I know that Natsu would win due to his determination to fight. Secondly he LITERALLY CANT DIE since he is END a demon created por this guy named Zeref. Soooo...unless Zeref is dead Natsu wouldnt die. Finally I would like to mention that only demons of Zeref can go near him. Instantly goku would die if he came near Zeref. Alrighty. Here to settle this mess of a comment....with logic. So, just wanted to start off por saying that I am a major fã of Dragon Ball and an even bigger fã of Fairy Tail. But for the canon Goku's power after the Saiyan Saga, I can confidently say that Natsu would get stomped very, very, very easily. Let's break down your argument shall we? Natsu has never shown any signs of being able to use the God Slayer flames after his battle with Zancrow so let's assume that he can't in the future. Second, while Etherion is in fact many magics combined together to create a nuclear sized blast, Ki in Dragon Ball could be mais comparable to Ethernano which is the pure magical energy residing in the atmosphere and bodies of, well, everywhere in the Fairy Tail verse. It's not as if Natsu can literally consume anything and take on their powers, as he could just do this with the air around him and gain infinite magic and manipulate it to all kinds of magics. Third, Natsu didn't destroy a PLANET of dark flame, he destroyed a very large sphere of Dark Flame. currently where goku stands, even from years before you made your comment, goku has been shown to have the capabilities of easily being able to destroy planets and, very early on, have defeated star-level villains such as Final Form Frieza. Fourth, Natsu can eat Jackal's explosions because they are fogo based. As established before, Natsu would not be able to eat a ki blast from goku or an explosion created por the ki blast, UNLESS it struck something to create fire. Ki and fogo are very different. There's that for your arguments. Now onto a little thing called power scaling. In terms of raw strength, Natsu's strongest feat has been disintegrating the Ishgarian God of War during the Cult Arc. Fairly imrpessive as it blew up a sizable chunk of land. Strongest magic feat has been his Blaze Dragon King's Roar which also blew up a nice portion of the land. Not bad. Now onto Goku. And let's low ball him a little. During the Battle of the Gods Arc/Movie, goku as a Super Saiyan God, clashing his fists with Beerus the Destroyer was able to send shockwaves so powerful that beings in other dimensions could feel it. In the Tournament of Power arc, goku at his strongest form is able to defeat Jiren, who while heavily suppressed, was able to shack the World of Void (a supposedly infinite space) with just his energy being released. All in all, goku could easily beat NAtsu simply por the fact that Dragon Ball quickly goes into the tiers of power beyond planetary. fairy Tail on the other hand has powerscaling at it's highest tier por anywhere from casual country level - low planetary level.

Power scaling? Natsu's biggest feat was destroying Acnologia, who was able to destroy, at most, a continent. Although, Natsu only did this por using the combined powers of the 7 dragon slayers, while everyone else trapped him in a Resistance-Sphere(Fairy sphere powered por the entire resistance group).

Goku's biggest feats..too many to count, but in his fight with Beerus, the universe almost shattered, meaning that goku is at least half universal. There's also his segundo fight with hit, where he broke through Hit's parallel world, making him multi dimensional.

We also have to look at the fact that goku is much faster naturally, so with his transformations he'll obviously be put on top. goku also has his powerful aura to defend and deflect against attacks, so it's highly likely that Natsu's physical attacks wouldn't do much.

When looking at all of these facts, it's simple. goku would crush Natsu, simple as that.

@Sahilmohile Ok so....because the name of the attack is Planetary Flames, we should take that literally? Let's just look at the actual scene. The fact that we can see a very obvious curvature on the sphere of Dark Flame means that it is no where near the size of a planet. that's just logical. Secondly, goku even before Dragon Ball Super has been at or above Solar System level scaling with Cell and Buu. And from what i've seen from Fairy Tail, no single attack has been able to destroy a planetary sized body.

Actually, no. Natsu's so called "Planetary Flames" destroyed a sphere with a very obvious curvature meaning that in terms of size relative to Natsu, not much bigger than a sphere able to surround Hogwarts.

Okayyyyyy. He wouldn't have been able to beat Hades, a city level threat at best, if the Exceeds didnt destroy his heart. Natsu is a dragon slayer and has been barely able to kill just one dragon in his life with the help of 6 or 7 other dragon slayers (By scaling, Acnologia with extra wank and high balling stats is low multi-planet tier). goku in his first showing of his God form was able to clash fists with a suppressed god of destruction, where the ensuing shock waves were felt in another dimension.

LMAO that is sooo not true. he couldn't beat Jellal until he ate Etherion which pushed him to go DF, he couldn't beat Laxus even with Gajeel help. the only way he won that battle because Laxus wasted huge amount of power on Fairy Law while Natsu got huge nakama boost. he coudln't beat Zero without Jellal etc. goku kills him with one blow.

He absorbed all that.
Now, what about Goku's Super Saiyan forms? you might ask.
However, as it is seen in Tenkaichi Budokai, Dragon Ball Xenoverse, and practically every fighting game (canon or not), THE SUPER SAIYAN FORMS ARE FAR FROM INVINCIBLE.
goku may be tough, but he can only take so much punishment before he drops dead like everyone else.

5. Speed, goku is beyond lightspeed. FAAAAAARR beyond. Now for those of you that like to argue that Dyspo was the only one stated to be beyond light speed, I have a video for you. Watch it if I haven't already destroyed your bullshit "Natsu could beat Goku" theories enough por the end of this.

6. A lot of you don't really have much concrete evidence on either side for why one could beat the other. goku being planetary doesn't REALLY mean jack shit. Other factors matter as well. Instant transmission is what we call "Hax" and there is really no feasible way Natsu can react to that.

I could go on and on about the many ways goku could annihilate Natsu, but I think this is enough.
