Is there any good animê for 12 ano old girls?

One day, I have a sister who has a twelve ano old friend. I invited her over my house for a party. We had a talk about what animê we watch and then she asked me what are some good animê for her.

She loves Fruits Basket and just got done watching Azumanga Daioh. However, she dislikes Nausicaa of the valley of the wind and says she probably doesn’t like animê about Princes and Princesses.

So is there any animê that are like Fruits Basket and not about Princes and Princesses?
