do you think elena truly loves damon?

Honestly, if you say that Elena doesn't amor Damon or just loves him like a brother, you're clearly watching a different show. Main reason? You don't go around making out with your brother and letting him grab your bunda and all. Have you seen their tension passion, etc.? As for Elena loving Damon as in just caring about him? That is a perfect example of DE's relationship last season. This season Delena shows a perfect example of how amor is friendship set on fire.

I don't care about what anyone else says, Elena truly is in amor him with Damon. When we see her finally admit it to herself and to Damon will be this shows most beautiful moment...EVER :')

I believe she does, but definately in a different way than Stefan - probably this causes pertly her confusion.
With Stefan, she feels safe. They have a "stable" connection, they have a romantic connection, they just fit each other.
At the same time, her amor toward Damon is mais complicated - it has so many ups & downs, also requires mais - mais patience, mais strength, mais forgivness. It's also mais intense, mais passionate. When they were just friends Elena had a lot of time to really get to know Damon & accept him the way he is, while, paradoxally, she still has problems with Stefan's vampire-side: in her head he's still a bunny-eater, she can't accept the fact that to avoid reaper's come back he has to drink small amounts of human blood.
I can't say that one of these loves is better or stronger, they are just different. But both are love.
I think Elena will chose Damon, not becasause she loves him mais or he's better for him, but becasue she has to let go the other brother. She learned to live without Stefan once, she was ready to let him - she can do it again. But having Damon por her side is necessary for her. You won't lose me./I don't know what I would do if you woldn't here/Where were you Damon - she loves them both, but she can live without only one of them. She'll chose Damon.

I think Elena loves Damon but honestly, not as deeply or romantically as she loves Stefan. I think she loves Damon in a caring way. She bonded with him but it's not deep, romantic, true love. She's attracted to him but not in amor with him. I COULD be wrong. This is just my opinion. Judging from her actions on the show, it just seems like her coração isn't all the way in, regarding Damon. Something ( or a lot of things) are missing.

Yes, I think Elena truly loves Damon. Maybe in the begining she didn't "Love" him and it was just a frienship, but than this friendship began a feeling and than it became a "Love". Truly, passionate and strong LOVE!!

I think Elena does amor Damon, there's no denying the chemistry there, but sometimes I think about Matt said to Elena in the season 3 finale, about how she's being unfair to both Damon and Stefan. Damon and Stefan are night and dia and each one has something different to offer her, which is why it was wrong of her to play with their emotions the way she has been for three seasons.

i think she is in amor with Damon. Her amor for Damon runs deep and its undeniable. Her amor for Stefan may be romantic but i doNOT think its as deep as her amor for Damon, with Damon its all consuming as she so right said in the finale. She is just not ready to let Stefan go yet, for whatever reason its not the right time.

I think that in her way she loves Damon, not only the
Bad boy thing but the protector of her and her family. The way he is with Stefan, she sees the good in him.
Unfortunately the writters won't let them be together. L.J got fired because she chose Damon.

I think Elena really amor deep inside and what i think it should be is Stefan.
This is all what i think:
Damon loves Elena because she looks like Kathrine in the first place, and he admit that he doesn't deserve Elena because He also saw Real amor between Stefan and Elena. Yet, He take that chance of the sire bond he have between Him and Elena, so they have fun and sex that increases elena's feelings for him more, because she is jealous that Stefan always get what he wants. Throughout the seasons Damon change his personality where he protect elena just like what stefan did to make elena fall inlove with him. Also everytime Elena is broken, He always asked help from Stefan because he knew that elena's amor is for Stefan. And lastly, most of the time they just kiss and sex.

Stefan's amor for Elena was mais Truth and Compassionate that i dont really need to tell all about it because it's so obvious, you can see it throughout all seasons how it all effect their relationship.

Elena's amor for Damon at first seasons, all is pity for not loving him for so much effort he done, and also when they try to make out in Motel it enlightens her that she is only attracted to Damon's physical body and charms, so she choose Stefan which she trust and amor her future with him. When she turns into vampire, she had a sire bond to damon, which makes damon mais respectful/trust worthy/truthful that makes her to easily fall in amor plus the attraction she had to damon. When the time Elena was mind controlled to hurt/kill Damon, elena didn't hesitate to hurt Damon and she cant stop it, but when she think about Stefan, she calmed down, which tells that deep inside its not about Damon.
On the contrary Elena's amor for stefan is much better end, when they first met she already fell inlove, and so much more. Also when she was to pick between damon and stefan, she chooses stefan and easily decide to return to stefan. and you all know what happens. Even being vampire, she still dream between her and stefan. She felt jealousy when Stefan was with Qetsiyah(the witch). And she felt something when Stefan have amnesia and helping to remember all the good things, like she was guilty of breaking up with stefan, and loving damon on the other hand.
