Does anybody think that Elena will turn into a vampire like she does in the books???

maybe at the end of the series. i would hate it if they rushed into it, but i also think they should stick to some of the storyline from the books. although, i like where they are going with everything right now.

She probably will but there is a very high chance that she won't.
Think about it:
In the books, Elena complains when she's turned into a vampire and says this new life isn't what she needed or wanted. Also, she doesn't ASK EVER to be turned into a vampire.
As the TV people are following the story line (loosely) they may not make her turn.
They may ask the fãs what they want to see in that case.
Also, think about this:
Everytime someone on the TV Show says something about her growing old, Stefan staying young forever, she doesn't blink an eye (well, she looks a little bit uncomfortable but that's it and it's gone like THAT) and she's never spoken to Stefan about her worries about it, either.
Then in the tomb, she had a chance to be a vampire when Katherine cut herself for Elena but she just stood there like, "what the hell?"
If they do turn her, it won't be until maybe the segundo last season at the earliest, but maybe mid-way, so the rest of it is about her struggle to be good, or something like that.
Unless they start to follow the book mais closely and make her a vampire, kill her and make her a spirit and a human again or something like that.

im not sure if she did that would be cool but it would be hard to tell the diffrence between kat and elena

Elena has to be one it would be awesome if she was and she wants to be with stefan forever so if i were her i would like to become a vampire and katherine wold be killed por klaus por then sooooo no problems.

I'm not saying that its like twilight because i like TVD so much better but i think Elena is soon going to realize that she wants to be with Stefan forever, and thats going to cause some controversy for their relationship and thats when i think shes going to turn to Damon.(Who also will not chaange her, because of his amor for her.)But i think she'll get changed sometime through the third or fourth season.

Not realy because the show is not following the books and if it does it would probably be in one of the last ever episodes.
