Firstly, it's KATHERINE, not KATHERN. (Is Kathern even a NAME???) I think he's capable of amor for a human. Although he tries to hide it, or may not even know it, it's evident that he has feelings for Elena. I think he's seeing past just the resemblance between both Elena and Katherine and finally seeing who Elena really is. If he can find it in himself to give into his feelings rather than hide behind a mural of cockiness, arrogance and pride, he will definitely amor again. As for the forgiving of Stefan? No, I don't think he'll ever truly forgive him. I mean, *SPOILER*, Stefan is the reason that Damon became a fully-fledged vampire! And he was the reason that Katherine got taken away. If she hadn't, maybe she would have, in the end, stayed with Damon when they were both vampires. But I think, aside from this, that he can befriend his brother again and maybe get along better. There will always be that part of Damon that can't forgive his brother, but isn't there things like that in ANY relationship???

idk but have u ever thought just maybe that he is just going after elana because stefan has her now and he is going to take her away from him because he had said in the flash backs that everything that they know have (plus kathrine) was just supposed to be his and that he would make it his job in life to make stefans life misreble and if taking elana away from stefan that is just what he will do plus i think down in his coração he is in amor with elana.
