Told from Silver Wings POV
I had been in plenty of cool places before (most of which I had clearance to only because of my older brother), but this was por far the coolest. The bioship was like something from a futuristic sci-fi movie. The most intriguing part to me, though, wasn't the flashing panels or the round-room windows showing a dazzling ariel view of the Gotham City lights. It was the people occupying the seats.
Perhaps a mais accurate desciprtion of the passengers would be Martian, Atlantian, and young girl with a striking resemblance to the Boy Wonder.
"Robin," the dark haired girl began, sounding annoyed "it was a simple retrieval mission! What was with all the..." She trailed off as she noticed Robin had a new passenger with him. He unwrapped his arms from my waist. I jammed my hands in my jaqueta pockets.
"Guys this is Silver," Robin informed. "Silver this is Aqualad, Miss Martain, and Delta, my-"
The boy Robin has introduced as Aqualad cut him off. "Perhaps introductions should be made after you tell us why she is here." He was surprisingly formal compared to the boys I had met equal to his age, 16 or 17 I guessed.
Robin unclipped the rope from his belt, which melted into the interior of the ship, and began to explain, "Silver's here because she had the..." He stopped and stared at me. I brushed a length of wet hair that had escaped from my braid behind my ear, feeling self concioise. It was only then that I realized I still had my rigging faca out. I quickly replaced it in my boot and looked at the teenagers around me to meet five questioning pairs of eyes.
"I suggest you contact Batman, Robin, about our...guest" Aqualad ordered calmly. I decided he was the leader. Robin moved from behind me and sat at one of the empty chairs. A assento cinto, correia grew around him as he typed on the dashboard. A holographic screen appeared and on it, the famous man of justice himself.
"Robin," he said in his deep voice, "I trust your mission was a success."
"Actaully," he sounded very nervouse, "we ran into a complication."
"What do you mean a complication?" Robin pulled back to give batman a better view. I shivered as his gaze landed on me. I blamed it on the chill of my sockend clothing, though the ship was comfortably warm. Placing my hands on my hips, I tried to return the look.
"Bring her in," he finally said.
"But-," Robin tried to argue. The screan flashed off. They all stared at me. I stared back, equally shocked. 60 segundos atrás I had been running for my life through the streets of Gotham, getting wet and threatened. Now I was in a bioship occupied por 5 stunned junior superheroes on my way to... Where exactly? I yearned for my warm cama and, for the hundredth time in the last 48 hours, that my big brother hadn't followed in my father's footsteps to work at CADMUS.

Somewhere in the Arctic, 4:49 a.m.
Nathan curled up on the rocky floor of the dark cave, protected from the snow for now. He'd found a piece of rock chipped off from the edges of the cavern and had somehow created a spark that had ignited into a flame. How it was sustaining, well, he didn't know. But it was keeping him warm, and for that he was grateful.
It suddenly dawned on him that he felt immensely drained, nearly useless. His coração wasn't beating as fast as usuall. Pushing himself up, he went to find a pool of ice, to see what was wrong. What he saw shocked him: his hair had turned to it's orginal mocha hue, a sign of no powers.
He sighed, and realized with a jolt he was in a cave. A cave... and the last person he'd seen was the Batman's daughter. This small fact slightly amused him, but amusement turned to worry. "Fin..." he murmured. "Why can't you see past what I've done? Why can't you see that I amor you?"
