“Recognized- Infinity. B08.”
I added the final touches to my civvie clothing as I walked into the cave. I was greeted por Connor and Wally sparring, the computer beeping to signify the few points lost or gained. Wally turned his head to say hi and was knocked to the ground, the floor buzzing and stating his failure. Connor chuckled slightly and pulled the redhead to his feet, nodding to me. Aisling ran up to me, in complete civvies. Her dark brown hair was sopping wet, and her green blue eyes shined. “Mind drying me off?” she asked sheepishly, blushing at her greeting towards me. I nodded, my expression blank, but underneath the dark glasses there was turmoil. I had to tell everyone what had just happened. “Um, okay- I need to tell you guys something.”
Everyone, including Robin, Delta, Artemis and Quicksilver, who had all come in before me, turned their attention towards my small voice. “What is it you need to discuss, Fin?” Kaldur asked. I shyly grabbed my left arm, a habit I had when I was nervous, then remembered the important things I’d seen before in class and dropped my right arm quickly.
“Today I did something I never thought I could do. I- I fell asleep and time traveled. Well, my mind did. I didn’t physically like disappear. But I saw-” I drew in breath, searching the astonished faces before me. “I saw something that used to happen with me. I saw myself, in my old... home... hiding in pain. And then, I saw something I believe to be the future. There was destruction and I’m sure that I saw us when we were older, like as adults.”
The blank stares that surrounded me looked as if they were set in stone. No one moved, simply sitting there with their mouths propped slightly open. Wally looked as if he was to go slightly insane, Kaldur was calmly astonished, and Delta and Robin were simply dumbfounded in a serious way. I finally broke the spell por looking down at my feet. I was scared- I wasn’t going to admit it out loud, but I was nearly trembling por what I had seen. I never, ever wanted to relive the moments I had spent with Slade. Ever. And it’s possible that the past could always repeat.
In a sudden instant I was blinded por a warm, white light. In the huge portal I made out a female figure- tall, thin, and you could clearly see her hair was long, going down to her mid back. As the figure grew clearer, I was suddenly flashing back to what I’d seen. There before me stood the woman in my segundo vision. Everything was the exact same.
Ebony hair, golden dress (or was it red?), and a belt, gloves, and boots to match the pencil straight strands that fell around her shoulders and covered the left half of her profile. Her mask clutched to her dust-stained face like it was dependant on her life. I would have bet that underneath that mask were a pair of sapphire blue eyes. I knew who she was, and yet I didn’t. She was vaguely familiar.
Everyone was still struck with shock from my story, even with the arrival of this new person. She looked at the whole room and sighed, which jolted them all back into consciousness. “What the hell... who are you?” Delta’s head whipped back and forth between me and the other. Nathan’s did too, but it was fast enough to look like a cartoon.
“My name? I thought you might have known that. Actually, no, you wouldn’t have. You’d know my old name. My name is Phoenix, but like always, I’ve shortened it. To Nix.” Nix assumed a position I’d used all my life, she leaned her weight onto her right leg and placed her hands onto her hips. Robin’s head titled sideways a bit.
“How would we know your ‘old name?’” he questioned, and a very familiar grin spread onto the other girls face. “Easy,” she replied. “You’d know me por knowing her name.” She pointed to me, and it suddenly struck me the most obvious possibility to who this girl was. Robin turned to me. “Fin?”
Nix walked towards me, and I stood waiting. I still couldn’t tell if her dress was red or gold, because with every small mover it shimmered to a new color. It kind of looked like fire, the way it waved and flickered between the multiple hues. I finally got the courage to speak to her. “How would you know who we are? What do you mean your old name?”
“I know you, and you know me- because I’m you,” she gave. It somewhat helped, but I waited for the last three words to leave her perfect lips with her wind chime voice.
“From the future.”

Remember when I posted asking for 10 comments in 2 hours? That's how I picked the lineup for this. I couldn't decide who to put into it, so that was my strategy.
A team is a whole, parts of differences, secrets, and love.
Of brothers and sisters, two wings on a single dove.
There's the new gal, a sweet little kitten,
A crazy fireball, the brightest spirit, always sizzlin'.
The sharp shooter, aiming straight,
The mysterious goddess, rising against fate.
A wise lass, green thumbs for knowledge,
A sisterly leader, keeping an order all must acknowledge.
And one with a broken heart, yet the biggest one.
All a team, all a family. One in the same. True for all that come.
Can you guess who is which?
P.S. 66Dragons helped with this!

Revenge stumbled away. The woman looked at the needle in her hand. The blood within was mixed with a strange brown mixture. Revenge gripped his arm and glared at the woman.
"A simple test will tell me who is beneath the mask, Red Revenge. And your secret will belong to me."
"Not likely." Revenge growled.
"Oh, but that's not all it does." she continued. "It poisons the blood stream. Corrupts the DNA within cells and eventually kills them."
"Nerve gas."
"In a liquid form, yes Red Revenge."

How did I survive?
It was peaceful
Then they came
They took all ‘smart’ and ‘intelligent’ ones
They burned our houses
They burned our city
They burned our people
They almost burned me
She almost burned me
I will never forget her face
Long hair
Blue eyes filled with fire
Angry...
So angry...
She held fogo in her hand
It didn't hurt her
The fogo just danced in her hand
She looked at me
Then my parents
Then me
She burned my parents
I ran
It was hot
So much fire
So much burning
I ran
I hid
I dissapered
Now I am here
I am Rostlina
And I am going to kill the fogo casters.
