Chapter Ten-

The door smoked before busting in. The Russian troops standing in the immediate area found metal azevinho, holly leaves sticking out of their chest. They pointed their AK's at the intruder. Before they could fogo however, gas hissed out of the leaves and the guards dropped to the ground unconscious.

Courage walked in the room and cautiously down the hallway. She busted down the door at the end of the hallway, but no one was inside.Checking the rooms, she soon came to a door that she couldn't bust down.

This was where Artemis was.

Planting an explosive on the door, Courage hid in a doorway and detonated it. The door blew down and Courage tossed leaves into the room. They detonated, creating a smoke cloud. Courage charged into the room taking down the soldiers on either side of the door. 

por the time she had finished, the smoke nuvem had cleared. And Artemis had a gun pointed to her head with Mercy behind her.

"Don't move." Mercy said, cocking the gun.

"Courage..." Artemis said.

Courage looked at the situation, but could find no way to hit the gun or Mercy without hurting Artemis too.

"Artemis, I'm really sorry about this..."

"Don't do anything stupid!" Artemis said.

Before Courage could throw a azevinho, holly leaf, something spun out of the darkness and threw Mercy into the wall, pinning her around the throat.

Courage looked quickly at where the projectile had come from, but all she got was a flash of red hair and then it was gone.

Artemis pulled the blindfold off her face and looked at azevinho, holly who had taken off her mask.

"How the heck did you do that?" she asked.

"I didn't." azevinho, holly said, inspecting the V-shaped object holding the 'unconscious' robot to the wall. She pulled it out and showed it to Artemis. "Seen it before?"

Artemis pulled off her mask and in the dim light, azevinho, holly thought she looked very similar to an assassin for the League of Shadows who had gone rogue some time ago.

"Nope, never seen it before." Artemis said, looking at it. "We can ask Batman."

"Or Sar-Revenge." azevinho, holly said.

Artemis looked at her funny before sighing.

"Let's get this over with, shall we?"

"Any luck with the Russians?" Sarah asked as Revenge walked in.

"No, Crystal refused to talk." Sam said, pulling his mask off.

"Well you aren't going to believe who Reaper's seguinte target is."

"This time, we do it right." azevinho, holly said, putting a scope on her gun.

"You never told me what that was anyway." Artemis said, carregando arrows in her quiver. "Strange weapon for a hero to carry."

"It shoots stun darts, but I've modified them to kill." azevinho, holly replied.

Artemis put her bow on her hip and pulled her mask on. "Let's do it." she said.

azevinho, holly pulled her leather mask on and put her pistol in her holster. The two girls climbed up to the roof and headed to where Luthor would sign the contract with the German company.

Taking a position on the roof, Artemis pulled out her crossbow pistol and azevinho, holly her gun.



"You have got to be kidding." Revenge said.

"I'm not. She is the final target." Sarah said, pointing at the female's picture.

Revenge slipped his mask on. "Call Draxx, I want the entire police force here. If he asks why, tell him no loose ends."

"Sam!" Sarah called after the fleeing vigilante. The caped figure turned around.

"Be careful! Don't let her find out!" Sarah said. Revenge nodded and jumped on his bike, speeding for an all-too-familiar place.



Aiming it down at the square, azevinho, holly sighted the limo in her scope. It pulled up to the curb and Luthor got out. He looked around and smiled at the cameras.

The crosshairs lined up perfectly and Holly's finger squeezed the trigger...
