"Just yesterday, two scientists were arrested and charged with kidnapping and attempted murder," said Summer Gleeson, the morning newscaster. "Their trial is expected to be in three weeks."
"But on a lighter note," she said brightly, "Nora Fries, the famed wife of the supervillain, Mr. Freeze, is on the race to recovery with the help of two superheroes, Robin and Nightfury. Mr. Freeze has agreed to go to jail and wait for conviction until his wife is cured, where he'll be set free and hopefully, his reign of terror will finally end."
I shut off the televisão with the remote and rested my head on Robin's shoulder.
Kid Flash pouted. "No fair! You guys got to go rescue someone while we had to investigate a FAKE disappearance!"
"I still think you're lucky." I showed him my bandaged right arm, still burning from the venom the other day.
Megan frowned. "I wish I could mentally repair that, it's the least I could do for you."

She looked curiously at me to Superboy, then me again. "If you say so..."
I heard a few brushing noises, and Aqualad and Artemis came running in.
"This just came in," Artemis handed Robin a piece of paper.
Robin skimmed through it quickly, then looked at me. "It's a ransom note. We have to show this to batman immediately." He helped me up, and we headed toward the Mission Room, where batman was pacing impatiently.
"Team," he said without acknowledging us. "Your mission today is..."
