“Thalia? Thalia!” a voice woke me from my nap. I glared at Red Arrow.
“What?! I was having a nice nap!” I complained
“We’re here” I noticed he was in a suit. Artemis and Megan were both in long dresses.
“I’ll be ready in a minute” I walked to the bathroom and changed into the dress Megan made for me. She made it por finding some organic material and just thinking at it. I slipped it on and took off my dark makeup. I pulled my hair out of a pónei, pônei and slipped on my red heels. I walked out and Red Arqueiro looked impressed. My black hair fell neatly onto my shoulders.
“Now remember, I’m Melody Mix and you guys are my body guards. Don’t give any information about your selves or me away. Only retrieve info about Cheshire” I reminded them. We walked out of the bio ship and down to the back door. I walked up to the guard.
“Name” he said. I looked back at them.
“I am the replacement lounge singer” I said
“And those are?” he persisted
“My body guards” I answered
“And the guy?” he demanded
“Body guards” I repeated
“Only female body guards allowed back stage” the man stated
“Body guard wasn’t my answer. He’s my…date” I said slyly “He must come to keep me company. If he can’t go back, neither do I. And if I can’t go back, your boss and all those tough guys in the club will probably hate you”
“Okay, okay. Just don’t tell anyone” he let us through the door. Red came up to me.
“So, I’m you encontro, data now?” he smirked. I smacked him.
“Good luck” Megan smiled
“Thanks, but luck won’t find a snitch. You will. While I’m singing, you guys have to ask around in the audience” I reminded them. I looked in a mirror and fixed my hair.
“You need makeup if you’re going to make anyone think you’re a lounge singer” Artemis said, reaching into her hand bag. She brought out lipstick, eye shadow and blush. She sat me down in a chair.
“I don’t have time for make up” I persisted, but Artemis did it anyway. She put bright red lipstick on me, along with soft red eye shadow and rosa, -de-rosa blush. I stood up and looked at myself in the mirror.
“Because I’m nice, I won’t kill you for making me wear none black makeup” I growled
“Sure. But you have to admit, you do look good” Artemis mused
“Okay, fine. I do look pretty nice” I admitted as I walked to the stage.
