I opened my bedroom window to let in an evening brezee. All of the trees have been bare for a while, exposing the cloudless sky. Letting out a sight i rested my head on my hand and leaned out letting the wind whip across my face. Today is the very last dia of winter break, then its back to school till spring. May as well enjoy it. "ARTIE JONES, GET DOWN HERE RIGHT THIS segundo I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A WORD WITH YOU!" My mom yelled vioentley from down stairs. Sluggishly I stood up and walked out of my room. "Mom my name is amy." I said walking down the steps. She just glared at me. " You can change your name when your 18, but thats not the problem we need to disscus." she said holding up a thin piece of folded white paper. I could feel every ounce of color drain from my face as we stood in silence.
"An F In Math? Artie How Could You Do This To Me!?" she snapped
"Why were you going through my stuff anyway!" i snapped back moving passed her.
"Because im your mother and im allowed to do that!" she said following me
"Whatever!" i said storming off toward the garage.
"We are not done disscussing this missy, you better bring that grade up or-" i slamed the door not wanting to hear anymore.
Quickly I laced my converse on and walked to the end of me drive way.
I stared at my back yard. My favorito view. The creek sparkling from the lingering sunlight, The big willow árvore swaying its branches in the harsh wind, the overgrown grama my mom never wants to cut. Simply beautifull. I skipped down the colina and stoped in front of my willow tree, I layed down in a patch of clovers. I stared at the radient pinks and purples overflowing the sky, i watched the tints of laranja and yellow fade out.
"Happy Birthday Amy." A vocie said behinde me.
"huh?" I blurted out as a small box dropped on my chest. Dumbfounded i turned around and stood up.
A tall dark haired boy stood there grinning..well i just call him leslie.
"Leslie!!" I almost yelled as i scrambled quickly to my feet.
"Happy Birthday" He said repeated
"You Too!" I said cheerfully.
Leslie and i have known each other for about 6 years now. We met por our parents work and ever since we have been pretty good friends, well i think so atleast.
I reached into my pocket and prayed his present was still in there."A-Ha" I said and pulled out a camera with a bright red bow on it.
"Here, ya go" I said handing him the camera.
"No way! Thanks so much!" He exclaimed
"Im just glad you like it" I said relevied
"Now your gift" He said taking the bow off the camera.
I looked at the tiny velvet box in my hand.
"Go on open it .... its not gonna explode" He said encouragingly.
I opened it to find a small crystal heart.
"Wow... Its beautifull" I said holding it up to the remaning sunlight. It Reflected the light in a way so that inside the coração was a plethora of colors.
"Do you like it?" He asked unsure
"Yes, of course, i amor it!" I said hugging him
"Its another charm for your braclet" He said as i let him go.
"Leslie!! Amy!! Its dinner!" My mom yelled out the window.
I let out a sigh and looked from the window to leslie.
"I'll race ya." He said playfully
"Go!" I shouted clutching the crystal coração in my hand as i ran.
Leslie caught up pretty fast and passes me with ease.
I started picking up speed as we raced to the topo, início of the hill.
The wind blew my hair around my face annoyingly.
I finaly reached the drive way and leslie was waiting there.
"what took you so long?" he asked not even out of breath.

Last summer I went to Los Angeles to stay with my cousin for a few weeks. One afternoon we were having lunch in a nice restaurant in the centre of the town when my cousin got a call on her mobile phone and went outside to talk. While she was speaking to her friend,I suddenly noticed a man in a black hat who was sitting at the seguinte table. It was the actor Johnny Depp!He was alone, and I decided to take my chance. So I got up and went to his table:'Excuse me,could I have my fotografia taken with you?'I asked. He said yes,so I stopped a waitress who was passing por and gave her my camera. She took the fotografia of me and Johnny,I thanked them both, and then I returned to my table. When my cousin came back,I smiled.'Why are you looking so pleased with yourself?'she asked.
'I had my fotografia taken with Johnny Depp.'
'Johnny Depp?Where is he?'
'He's sitting over there.Look!'
She turned around to look and then started to laugh.
'That's not Johnny Depp!'I looked at the man in the black hat-he was laughing too.

You held up your abóbora spice finger,
With a playful wink,
Your sweetness saved me several times,
When I was on the brink,
The warmth within your spritely smile,
Allowed me to be real,
Your cinnamon and sugar hugs
They taught me how to feel.
I'd run down to the coffee shop,
So I could see your face.
You've seen me at my happiest,
You've seen me in disgrace.
And though you're always beaming,
Still I feel the need to say,
It's okay if you have some days,
Where your spice fades away.
