Chapter 1: Sonia's Wedding
I was in my room, getting in my maid of honor dress and accessories. I was very excited, for my sister, Sonia, was getting married. I heard a knock on my door and answered it. It was my brother, Manic. "We've gotta be out there in five minutes, sis. Not trying to rush you, but you've got to hurry up. See you out there with Sonia and Jacob." I nodded and answered, "Yep. See you, Manic." I was having a lot of trouble putting on my pearl necklace, for I had to hide my medallion under it. I finally got that to work and got out there. I looked at all the people that came. Even our cousin, Scrouge, came. I was nervous when I saw him. He could be really dangerous, and he could cause Chaos Blasts whenever he wanted to. And he especially hated Manic. I gave Manic a look with my eyes and he gave me a look that meant, 'I know, Amy. I know.' Sonia and Jacob were officially married por then. We started to head back to our dressing rooms when all of a sudden Scrouge stood up. I was frightened. What was he going to do?
Chapter 2: The Chaos Blast
Scrouge had a smirk on his face. He put his hands up in a powerful way. I knew what he was about to do. He looked at all of us and said, "It's time another Chaos Blast occurred." He pulled three Chaos emeralds out of his backpack and all of a sudden, there were explosions everywhere. Everyone started running to safety outside. We learned when we were little what to do if a Chaos Blast happened. I saw tons of people outside of the church. I ran to where Mother was standing with Sonia, Jacob, Sonic, Tails, and Dad. I asked, "Where's Manic?" Mother answered, "I don't know. I'm guessing he's back at início already." I felt mais comfortable knowing where my brother was. We hopped into the car, and went back home.
Chapter 3: What Really Happened
Mother and Dad woke us all up really early in the morning. We all went into the living room. Our maid, Destiny, started a fire. Dad told us, "Alright, guys. Sit down in the chairs." We sat down as we were told. Mother took Dad's hand and we saw that she was crying. We asked, "Why are you crying? What's wrong? Where's Manic?" He said, "Guys, a few minutos atrás we got a call. It was the police. Manic died in the Chaos Blast. This is a very tragic time for us." We looked at each other. Sonic and Sonia looked as if they were going to cry. Tails was already crying, and he ran into my arms. Tails had known me since the dia he was born, so whenever something was wrong, he'd always come to me. He felt mais like I was his mom instead of Mother. I held him tight and asked, "Do you want me to make pancakes? And I've just got to know, did they arrest Scrouge?" Mother and Dad nodded. I said, "Good. He's deserved it for a while."
Chapter 4: Our Birthday
I sat in my favorito chair in my room. Tails was standing seguinte to me in my chair. I told him, "For an almost 12-year old boy, you're pretty sensitive and understanding." He hugged me. The two of us had only known Manic for almost 5 years. And he was my twin brother! "At least I still have my little buddy." I said as I hugged Tails. He answered, "I amor you, Amy." We went into the kitchen. I put on disney Channel for Tails (he loves 'I Didn't Do It') and I made my delicious pancakes. I also made muffins, bagels, waffles, biscuits, and the yummy mixtures. While everything was cooking, I sat down and watched 'I Didn't Do It' with Tails. The show's about these five teens- Lindy, Logan, Jasmine, Garrett, and Delia, who are always in trouble. This episode was this one where the boys are trying to get dates and the girls all want to be asked out for the dance. It was soooo funny. por the time the show was over, the comida was done. I set up the comida on the dining room mesa, tabela and waited for everyone to get up. The comida was delicious. I'm going to skip time to when we went out for dinner. Mother'd made a reservation. We all sat down and started talking. Tails snuck up on Sonic- a lot! He used to do it with Manic, but... Well, you know... Anyways, I noticed that Tails looked really pale. We ate the food, which was really yummy. We headed início after we ate.
Chapter 5: Tails
I went into my room right when I got home. Mother and Dad went to get their presents for us. I was just about to sit down in the living room when I noticed that Tails wasn't in there. Suddenly, I heard him call, "A-Amy..." I was worried. I ran off into his room. There I saw him, on his bed. Something told me that there was something going on with him. I ran back to Mother. "Mother, there's something weird going on with Tails. Come here." Mother got up, alarmed, and followed me into Tails's room. She picked up her son and checked his temperature. It said that there was nothing wrong with Tails. Mother ran to Dad and said, "Jonathan, I know that there's something wrong with my son. Come here, seriously. He's burning up. We're bringing him to the hospital." To my siblings and me, Dad said, "Guys, we need to bring your brother to the hospital. Sonia, you're in charge until we get back." I stood up and said, "I'm not leaving my little brother. I'm coming with you two." We ran to the car and I held Tails in my arms. I silently prayed, "Please don't have him die, please don't have him die." We got to the hospital sooner then I thought. I held onto my brother and ran inside the hospital. Mother and Dad followed me to the counter. The woman said, "Whatdya want?" I told her, stubbornly, "My little brother has something the matter with him. He needs help- immediately." The doctor, who was also my friend, came up to me and brought Tails to the emergency room. I ran into Mother's arms, and she head me tight. I asked her, "Do you think he'll make it?" Mother answered, "Even if he doesn't, Amelia-Rose, either way he'd be my little miracle. Robotnik almost killed him before he was born." Mother sat down with me and Dad. We went to sleep in his room. I didn't sleep at all, though.
Chapter 6: The Last Day
I didn't leave the room at all the seguinte day. Before I knew it, it was midnight. Tails opened his eyes for a moment before he said, "I amor you, Amy." I then tried to wake him up. I soon realized what had just happened, and I kept saying no. I then collapsed on topo, início of his body and started to cry. I screamed, "He can't... He can't be dead!" Mother woke up to see me crying. She gently asked me, "He passed away last night, didn't he?" I nodded. Mother held me closer. She answered, "I know why. When he was due in a few weeks, Robotnik had tried to kill him. Thankfully, he didn't die then, but he was born with his two tails. The doctor had said that him having two tails was his version of having cancer. I now understand why he died last night. Come on, Amy. Let's get home." Her and Dad held me close to them. I cried the whole way home.
Chapter 7: Only Three Left
Mother and Dad were holding me in their arms as they walked into the palace. I'd fallen asleep, and Dad carried me to bed. Mother and Dad had Sonic and Sonia come sit down with them. It was then that they explained to them about Tails. I woke at about two in the morning. I knew that I should go back to sleep, but I couldn't. I couldn't stop thinking about Tails and Manic. I crawled to the window above my bed. The stars were out. I immediately started to look for our stars. And there they were, in plain sight. They were all there. They reminded me of Manic and Tails a lot. I immediately thought of my brothers's last words. I couldn't take it anymore. I was completely heartbroken. My cell phone suddenly rang. I picked it up and said, "Hey, Cream. Can we FaceTime instead?" She accepted, and we started FaceTiming. I'd been crying again. She asked, "Amy, are you okay?" I shook my head. She asked what was the matter. I answered, "Cream, Manic died in a Chaos Blast the dia Sonia and Jacob got married. And a couple hours ago, Mother, Dad, and I were in the hospital because of Tails. He died about three hours ago. Besides my parents, I loved Tails mais than anybody else. We'd been through everything together." Cream was about to tell me something, but her phone died. I murmured, "Why has everything had to die?" I missed my brothers mais than anyone. I turned on 'I Didn't Do It' and tried to get some laughs out of me. Dad then woke up at about seven o'clock and looked at me. He walked in and asked me, "Honey, what time have you been up since?" I answered, "Two o'clock, Dad. I've been thinking of Manic and Tails too much. I'd do anything to have them back." He answered, "I'm sorry, Amelia-Rose. But there's no way to save them." I said, "There's no chance in saving Manic, but Tails hasn't been dead for 24 hours yet. I might know a way to save him. Can you get Sonic?" He nodded and got my brother. "C'mon, Sonic. I've got a plan to save Tails."
Chapter 8: To Sum It Up
My regenerating plan worked. I'm thrilled about Miles, but I'm still heartbroken about Manic. But after his incident, I learned how valuable life really is. I always think on the bright side: at least I still have Sonia, Sonic, Tails (thank god), and our parents. I had many good times with that troublemaker. My sister and brothers make me feel better and better every day. I know that they loved Manic, too. But there's nothing I can do. I know that he can see me, wherever he is. He will never leave my memory. It hasn't been the same. Manic'll never steal another thing. He's dead, and that's really sad. I wish it happened when he was older, but I can't do anything about it now. RIP Manic J. Aleena. I still miss him mais than anything. I'll never be able to help him, but at least I actually tried. I'll always have those amazing memories with him, and that's the seguinte best thing. There's nothing I can do, and I'll probably never be completely alright. But like I said, there's the memories. Those will exist forever and ever. That's the best thing that remains.
