The sun was hidden behind the clouds, it had started raining heavily an hora ago; it was now lesser but not quite a drizzle yet. Everyone was enjoying the welcoming weather from inside their homes; well almost everyone. There was one person who was enjoying the rains outside of her home. She was a young girl of 22 who was standing in her backyard with her arms spread wide as the raindrops poured on her, leaving her drenched from head to toe. Her eyes were closed and she was smiling as she started to whirl around taking in the wonderful feeling of being wet in the rain.

Someone called out to her from the house but the rain was loud so she did not hear anything. She continued to spin and laugh as she danced on the grass, wearing a blue dress and no sandals on her feet. The girl suddenly bumped into something soft as she was dancing around and opening her eyes she found herself staring at a boy who looked at her with a smile on his face as he held her. He was taller than the girl, which made him seem to be a few years older than she was. She had to stand on her toes just to reach his shoulders.

“Come inside…” he said to her, his voice barely a whisper. He too was drenched now, having forgotten an umbrella.

“Later, I’m dancing in the rain. Don’t you just amor this weather?” she asked him, her smile lighting up her eyes.

“I do. But I don’t want you falling sick, now let’s go in the house. You’re soaking wet.” He told her, sounding concerned.

“You’re wet too.” She pointed out. “Please, let’s stay out here a little longer, I haven’t felt the rain on my skin in so long.” the girl made a sad face.

The boy moved his hands from her waist to her face and held her cheeks as they locked gazes again. “You’ll be ill. You’ve been here for over fifteen minutos now, the rain isn’t going anywhere. It will still rain tomorrow.” he tried to reason with her.

“So what? If I fall ill, I have you to take care of me.” The girl broke their gaze, she never could look into those eyes for too long without feeling queasy inside.

“How about one dance with me and then we go inside?” the boy asked her as he held out his hand.

She laughed and blushed at the same time. “Alright, one dance.” she agreed.

She gave her hand to him and he placed it on his shoulder while putting one hand of his around her waist. With their free hands clasped together, they began to dance slowly, not caring about getting wet in the rain anymore. Nothing else mattered at that moment, there was nothing mais important than being with each other dancing in the rain. The girl was caught off guard when he dipped her and pulling her back up gave her a quick kiss.

“I amor you.” he confessed to her as they stopped dancing. They just stood there staring at each other.

“I amor you too…” the girl replied as she hugged him tightly. “I always will.” she whispered as her head lay on his shoulder.

They both walked towards the house holding hands, they didn’t care about anything else in the world; didn’t care what anyone thought about this relationship of theirs. All they cared about was that they were finally together.
 Les Bailey at Comic Con
Les Bailey at Comic Con
Friends, family and a few special guests will gather tonight (Sunday, January 29, 2017) at a Salt Lake City venue to celebrate the launch of author Les Bailey's newest offering to the literary world. It's the sequel to his first book, this one titled, The Vampire Game ll: Acquisition.

I first read this book on my Kindle device during a flight início for a vacation and at the urging of a mutual friend of the author's--and honestly, I wasn't able to put the device down. The story was very unique for being a vampire tale. Very well thought out and masterfully written. This story captured me right...

In an early morning interview to promote his seguinte book, Ellen, the segundo installment in his "Stars" series of fã books, busy author Randy Jernigan lamented the stresses of the political season saying he'd be happy when the race comes to an end.

"I get a little too worked up when it comes to politics--I tend to take it all quite serious and it leaves me stressed out. Especially this election," the writer added. "It worries me that we have a candidate that spends most of his times telling large groups of people obvious lies about his opponent and participates in outright fear mongering about...

oi guys!

So I know a few of those who'll come across this page and think it's exactly like the 'Writing' page, but it's not. This group is for everyone who wants to publicar a piece of composição literária that they've started, finished, or are editing. It's like those groups a lot of authors tend to cadastrar-se to get help on their books, songs, short stories, plain ol' ideas, or screenplays.

The Writer's Club is all about coming together to help each other achieve their best work and even publicar their work. We can help one another por reviewing chapters of books that have been posted as articles, por leitura lyrics that may not be quite right, or to just see what kind of audience a piece of work is suited towards.

Anyways, if anyone has questions, just give me a shout out, otherwise feel free to post any pieces of original material for constructive debate!

Ariel Westwood

Sixteen years later…

‘Ariel are you ready yet, you’ll be late if you don’t hurry up!’ ‘I’ll be right downstairs mom, just a few mais seconds!’[Running footsteps on the stairs] ‘Morning mom, I know I’m late but what can I say a girl needs her beauty sleep.’ ‘It’s your first dia at a new school and you are already late, as always.’ I put on a sad face. ‘Don’t look at me like that. ‘I gave my mom a hug and a kiss on her forehead, ‘Sorry I’m late again, see you after school.’ I grabbed my bag and car keys. ‘Drive safe!’ ‘Always do, don’t...

Birth on a full Moon

A thousand years later in the 21st century….
On a starless night the full moon looked down upon the earth waiting, watching for it knew that today was the dia that the prophesy would be fulfilled, everything was quiet as if nature knew what was happening ‘Breath in and out that will ease the pain, just one mais push and the baby is out.Come one dear just one mais push.’ Soaked with sweat, Claire gave one mais push and the cry of a new born baby was heard. ‘You did well dear; it’s a girl what a beauty.’ Exhausted, weak and with tears in her eyes Claire...

In this night
composed of beads sprinkled
of the memories and remembrance of
the days that sill live in the hearts of sorrow.

In this night
I procurar for one soul
who can understand my thoughts,
in this night I whisper...

Your name like a blessing,
your hug like a consolation.

In this night,
magic is real,
weakness of the past has been stopped
por this moment of fidelity,
this moment belongs to us.

Make my demons go away,
I know,you're the only one,
the only one who can stop the pain.

Beads are sprinkled all over,
this beads of past,
rolling to the floor to my foot
just to remind me,
just to punish me
for the days when my strength
was gone,
when I was gone,
burried por the thoughts of darkness and grief.

But this night belongs to magic,
the magic of your presence,
this night will forgive my weakness,
so I shall forgive,
I will pick these beads and I will be free,
fear won't find me,the nigh will forgive me.
"Ippi-CHAN!!"yelled Arisa Aizawa in a rushy tone.
"I'm coming.."I said like a feather falling lightly on the ground.
Iza had enough and dragged me downstairs like our daily routine.
"If you keep falling asleep in 3 am your going to become dumber and dumber ya' know?!"
"I'm sorry,Iza-chan..I just really like to be organized por the morning" I had told Iza a lie about me organizing my room when what I've been doing was really getting to the bottom of this 'Shizio Deeds' murder.I hoped that if I figured out who killed her and her family,I might get some type of reward in cash,so I can finally move...

I don't remember how long I've been running on the open grounds. It does seem long enough. But I was determined, devoted. Up above me,I noticed the jet planes streaking through the blue-black sky. I did not care. I did,but I'm not going to pay any mais attention to it than the sinking feeling of hopelessness that wrapped my mind. The grounds were filled with rocks and sharp stones. Any other day,I would have bothered to watch my way trying not to fall onto the sharp stones which threatened to tear my skin, but not today. No,not today...
There were sirens screaming faraway,in my direction and I...

" Cassie, he's staring at me through the window!" My friend Lexi whispered during Science. I turned my head to the left and sure enough Caden was staring at her. Why does she always encontro, data such jerks? She should encontro, data someone who treats her right. " Lexi and Cassie, stop talking." Mrs. Daloff yelled. ~Wow, that was rude. She's a bad teacher. We should get her fired.~ Me and Lexi's friend Megan passed us a note. ~Ya Totally!! Should we include Gracie?~ Lexi wrote to Megan. As her response Megan just smiled. ~Are you in Cass?~ Megan wrote. "Ya," I mouthed to her. She smiled and gave me two thumbs up.

Out at recess, we planned out our scheme. Mrs.Daloff would get snakes in her class, so she would yell at Tyler since he would do something like that. Then she would call the principal and Tyler would get in trouble, but to keep from getting in trouble he'd say he didn't do anything. The principal would believe him and Mrs.Daloff would be fired. Unless..... Something gets ruined.

Have you ever been burned or struck? Threatened or excuted? I haven't, but my friends and family have. My sister was struck, and my mother was threatened, but the worst were my father and my best friend. They were executed for having as destructive imagination. Since their executions other with the same " problem " have tried to flee from the country, but they just end up caught and killed. You see any kind of imagination is banned from this country. I miss my father, my friend, and imagination. Someday, I'll bring imagination back for them, but until then it remains buried in the ground with my loved ones.

Chapter 2 – Jason
Mary just collapsed, unconscious, at my feet. I think some time in the healing department would help, but also, a dia off of practice couldn’t hurt either.
I scooped her up and set her in the backseat of the truck and hopped in the front with Coach Smith. “What’s next, Coach?” I asked as I buckled my assento belt.
“Whatever she can tell, if anything, will be found out later. For now, we’ve got to get her back to the school.” Coach started up the truck and started to drive.
“What was Mr. Johnson?” I asked, not really looking at Coach at all. I was looking...

It is the beginning of the end...
The words drift to me, as if carried on the wind. I look up toward the sky to try and get a glimpse of what-or whom-ever sent that thought to me. Of course, there is not a thingthere. I continue my walk.
I'm stepping over McCafferty's bridge that crosses over Dalvin's canal when a cool zephyr sweeps across my body. I shiver, wrapping my arms tight around my waist. Autumn is creeping in on us, here in west virginia. As i step off the bridge, i hear it again. Only, closer this time...
I decide to pick up my pace and i scurry home.
Once there, i find my father with a faca protruding from his back sprawled on the cozinha floor. A pool of blood surrounds him.
Before i even start screaming, i think to myself, "i knew it was gonna be one of THOSE days..."

Blue was the single tear among all others streaming dowm my face,
purple were the bruises covering my body,
Red was the blood running down my mouth,
my eyes,
my throat
down to the floor,
Black was the hopeless darksurrounding me,
white showed the blankness
of what my life
was about to be
...
and yet

I couldn't help but smile
Some people think I mean to like Pain no matter how bad.
Better people think it means when
there is no hope left you can still have one reason to smile!
