So, what can the fãs expect from NM? Taylor Lautner reveals: "The fãs need to know that New Moon is gonna be stepped up a whole nother notch and I can guarantee you that. The storyline is fantastic, there's going to be mais action, there's lobisomens now, there's going to be some cool, cool CGI and it's really going great so far and they're going to be very, very pleased."
Since Taylor became a mega-celebrity when he scored the role of Jacob, did he feel a lot of pressure to do his best in New Moon? Nah! He tells Access Hollywood: "I mean, you try and push the pressure behind you as much as possible and just have fun and it's definitely been a lot of fun. Making New Moon was amazing."
As you know, Dakota Fanning plays Volturi vampire Jane in NM, so what can we expect from Dakota's new look? Michael Sheen (Aro), Twittered: "I think Dakota may look the most unsettling though. So angelic yet so weird. As Jane that is of course. Like an evil red riding hood."
Jackson Rathbone (Jasper Hale) spills that the cast was super-tight during filming, but who was the closest? "All the Cullens," he says. "We were truly like a family on and off set. We would go out to dinner, hang out at the hotel, work out together in the hotel gym, and we even had family sing-a-longs."
So will the New Moon flick be similar to the book? Christian Serratos (Angela Weber) dished to E Online that New Moon is "still really close to the book, but it's hard to explain. When I read the script [for Twilight], I was just like, 'Oh my God. I knew what was going to happen because I'd read the book, but when I read this script. Wow. I was on pins and needles wondering what was coming next. It's just that good."
What's the biggest difference between Twilight and New Moon? Peter Facinelli (Carlisle Cullen) spilled: "When we shot Twilight, it felt like it was an indie. We were racing the clock. Catherine [Hardwicke] was fantastic, but with New Moon, it felt like we had mais time to play. The atmospheres were different. They were both great...in their own ways. I just think New Moon is going to be incredible."
When the New Moon cameras stopped rolling, what did the cast do during downtime on set? Jackson Rathbone (Jasper Cullen) spills, "There were usually two or three guitars on set at all times. We all get down with a little music, though some of our styles and tastes are a bit different."
If you thought the werewolf looked a little unclear in the New Moon trailer, no worries! It was just a teaser trailer and the movie hasn't gone through post-production yet when everything will be tweaked. So the lobos will definitely look a little bit mais realistic come November!
Everyone was totally excited to see the New Moon trailer (including us!) but who was most pumped up about it? Taylor Lautner, of course! He told ET: "It's pretty cool because we got to see the vampires, and now you're going to be able to see both. And the lobisomens come in for the kill!"
So what was filming like in Italy? Well, there were a lot of Rob-sessed fãs to make filming difficult! Co-star Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen) told MTV: "Italy was intense. We literally all had two bodyguards and drivers, and we couldn't walk and had to be driven around the set. It was because there were thousands of girls that came in from everywhere in the world to see Rob! They would sleep over and stay the night outside our hotel gate. It was nuts."
Taylor Lautner tells mtv that he did a lot of improv with Jacob for New Moon! He spills: "We did a lot of improv on set. We'd just be in a aleatório forest, after Jacob transforms, he all of a sudden becomes very agile, and I wanted to show that, because pre-transformation, he's clumsy and as soon as he transforms, he's agile. So we'd be in a aleatório forest, and I'd be looking around going, 'What can I do to show Jacob's agility in here?' And sometimes Chris would be like, 'No Taylor, we don't want you getting hurt, spraining an ankle.' I was like, "Well how about I just jump off that and jump through this?' and he's like, 'Alright, give it a shot!" So that's kinda what I was doing."
Since we loved Paramore's "Decode" song on the Twilight soundtrack, we were totally hoping for paramore to be on the NM soundtrack as well. But, the band says that's unfortunately not the plan this time around. baterista Zac Farro told Billboard Magazine: "We don't want to be, like, the vampire house band. It was really fun to be a part of that, and great exposure, but I think Twilight was it for us. We don't want to seem like we're trying to get in every single movie they put out."
Did you know that Kelly Clarkson is cantar a song for New Moon, titled "Empty as I Am"? So awesome! She spills,"It's a sweet song, it sounds really sweet - the melody, but pretty it's sad. But it's a sad book! I think that's why people relate so much to those books, they're very relatable because everyone goes through those emotions."
