The possibility that I would lose my vampire side disturbed me. I can't not be a vampire. Does this mean that my child will only be a human? I want to talk to Jake. Does he even know whats going on? My mind shifts from one thing to the next. Every so often looking up expecting to see eyes all around me.

"Rennesme." My dads voice booms behind me.

"What?" I ask blankly staring at the floor.

"When your mom and I learned of her pregnancy, I did not know what to think or do. The only thing I could grasp was that your mom wanted you mais than life. At first I thought that you would turn out to be a monster. But when I saw your little soft face, I knew that you would be one of the biggest blessings of my life. Figurativly of course." His normal toughness turning into softness.

"Oh daddy." I say as I lay my head on his shoulder. His ice cold hand touching my cereja red cheek. His story truly help me find peace. I realized that no matter what I would always have my family even if I was a vampire or not. I will amor this child and amor my life no matter what happens to me.
