If Stefan hadn't of met Elena but Damon instead do U think she would have liked him as much as she did the first time she saw Stefan?

She broke up with Matt because 'it wasn't passionate' and that's what she was looking for --- what Damon could give her. So to an extent, yes, BUT this all changes after her parents die. What she's looking for is completely different. She's looking for comfort and safety and somebody that would never leave her like her parents did (See; Matt/Elena conversation) So, no but yes. Like Damon said it's right, just not right now. Elena has a lot of issues to work through.

I think the answer is yes. When Damon and Elena met for the first time, there was a really good connection between the two of them. I think that Elena would have liked Damon if he didn't compel her to forget and possibly fell in amor with him! Even Elena said something like that at the Departed "Maybe If You And I Had Met First".
