Gwen's pov!
i opened my eyes and looked at the ceiling. what happened? i heard a soft snore. i looked over and found a sleeping cutie seguinte to me. i got in closer to him and rubbed his abs. he opened his eyes and sat up. "where the heck am i?"he said half asleep. "in hell."i said. he looked over at me and rubbed his eyes. "i`m still really tired."he said. "i know you are,but he should be back today."that made him stand up. "i wonder if that bastard is already here."he hissed. "i hope not."i said. he pulled my good hand and i sat up. "are you feeling okay?"he said. "i`m fine,i just don't know if-."i was cut off por a door slammed open. "oh Gwen,dear,i`m back!"Duncan yelled. i started to get scared and cry. "Trent hide."i said. "no,i need to beat him."he said. "p-please..i don't want you getting hurt."i said. "Gwen,you are already-."i cut him off. "leave..h-hurry."i pleaded through tears. he sighed and started to walk off,but as soon as he did,Duncan had the door open standing there with his mouth wide open. Duncan looked at me pissed. then mais angry at Trent. "you whore!"Duncan shouted before running towards me. right when Duncan was gonna strike me with his hand,Trent jumped on his back and started punching him in the face until he fell face first onto the ground. when he fell,he stood up quickly and threw Trent up at the ceiling and he fell with a crack. "oh."Trent groaned. Duncan picked Trent up and started punching him in the face. "Trent!"i cried. Trent knelt Duncan in a place 'where the sun don't shine' and he fell over in pain. Trent grabbed one of Duncan`s knifes off the floor and stabbed Duncan in the back. "AH!"Duncan kicked himself up and took the faca out of his back and threw it at Trent,luckily he dodged it. they both charged towards each other,and Trent fell. Duncan grabbed Trent por the shoulder and rammed him into the basement door and broke it. Trent bit Duncan`s arm,and Duncan let go of Trent and he punched Duncan in the face,then grabbed a baseball bat and banged it hard on his head. Duncan fell down the steps and onto the concrete floor. he slid in blood. Trent walked down the steps slowly. "you beat up my girlfriend."he punched Duncan. "almost killed my kid."he kicked Duncan in the face and grabbed him por the shirt. "give me ONE good reason why i shouldn't kill you!"Trent screamed at him. "cause of this!"Duncan pushed Trent off of him and ran over to me and held a faca to my neck. "that's right Trent,go ahead!"he said putting the faca against my neck harder. Trent dropped the bat. Duncan stood up and chuckled. "i knew you wouldn't kill me,you amor me."Duncan said. Trent closed his eyes and his face turned red. whoa..i think i`m finally gonna see what its like when Trent goes off. Trent screamed and started punching Duncan multiple times. Duncan fell to the floor. Trent stood on Duncan`s stomach and started pounding it with his foot. Duncan coughed up blood. Trent picked up Duncan and swung him around 4 times,then threw him at the mural seguinte to me. he made a hole in the wall. "GET UP DAMMIT!"Trent yelled. Duncan stood up,still looking at the wall. he turned around and tackled Trent. Duncan grabbed Trent's arm and twisted it really hard and it snapped. Trent tried to push Duncan off,but it didn't work. Duncan kept punching,kicking,and stabbing him with his knife. Duncan put the faca over his head and went down quickly and stabbed Trent in the stomach. Trent started gasping for air. Duncan took the faca out and stabbed Trent in the chest. blood was leaving Trent's chest,stomach, and mouth. i started to cry. "NO!"i shouted. Trent closed his eyes slowly. i screamed and cried really loud. "Trent! don't go!"i yelled. Duncan got a TV cord and hit me with it. i started to cry. HE CANT BE DEAD! i cant fight Duncan off,both of my legs are broken! Duncan started to kill me again. right when Duncan was about to kill me,a loud bang went off and a bloody círculo started to form around Duncan`s chest. i watched as Duncan fell down in front of me. he was still alive. i looked over at Trent and he was holding a gun,while blood was coming out of his mouth. "take that you asshole."Trent sneered lowering the gun. "you`re alive."i said. Trent smiled and limped towards me and picked me up. we started to walk up the stairs out of here,when Trent stopped and sat me in a chair in the kitchen. he walked near a huge jug of gasoline and knocked it over. Trent pulled out his lighter. "write me from hell."he said before he lighted it and dropped it on the gasoline. he picked me up and ran out,this place was gonna explode! as soon as we were gonna run out of here,the fogo exploded and pushed us into the air and we fell. Trent caught me. "gotcha."he said. we both laid there on the grama and looked up at the night sky. a few segundos passed and we both heard loud sirens coming towards the house. it was the fogo department,police,and ambulance. "go! go! go!"the fogo chief shouted when they were about to start putting the fogo out. the cops brought us over to the ambulância and put us inside. they shut the door and we were rushed to the hospital. it took about 2 1/2 days to get my wounds better. i had 270 stitches,casts on my arms and both my legs,2 staples (the bones in my leg) and the doctor said i tore a leg muscle. i way sleeping in my hospital room from all the pain. i felt something sit seguinte to me. i opened my eyes to find Trent have stitches and a cast on his arm. "we did it."he hugged me. "no you did it,you saved my life."i said. "yeah,well.."he trailed off and blushed. i kissed him on the lips. "that was very sweet of you."i said. a doctor came in and looked at the computers. "excuse me?"Trent said. "yes?"the doctor said. "can you please check on the baby?"Trent asked. the doctor nodded and came over to me and put a scanning machine over my belly. "your baby is 100% fine."the doctor said. i smiled and Trent did the same. "but...you will have to have the baby earlier,which would be tomorrow."the doctor said. tomorrow? my eyes widened. "i guess we`ll stay here."i said. we stayed there for the night and fell asleep.
Trent's pov!
i was awaken at 3:00 in the morning por a loud scream. i looked over at Gwen. "is it time?"i said. she nodded with her eyes shut tight. i ran into the hall and called for the doctor to come in. the doctor ran in the room and put on his gloves and sat in front of Gwen. i sat on the cama beside Gwen and held her hand. "alright,i need you to push on 3 okay? 1..2...3!"the doctor instructed. Gwen started pushing. i`m not looking down there,i have a weak stomach,so yeah...Gwen was screaming and crying. i just kept squeezing her hand. "you`re doing great."i said. a few minutos later i heard a baby cry. Gwen opened her eyes and looked at the blood drenched girl. the doctor went over to the sink and washed her off. i kissed Gwen on the lips. "you did wonderful."i said. "thanks."she said exhausted. the doctor wrapped Zoey in a blanket and handed her to Gwen. "congrats."the doctor said before walking off. "aw,she looks just like you."i said. Zoey opened her eyes. "but has your eyes."she said. she was a very cute baby girl. she was my little girl.
Gwen's pov!
a few months have passed and i started to take therapy about all the stress. it has been working,but i still haven't forgot about it. Trent wanted to take me to the park today,but left Zoey with my mother. walking with two crutches wasn't easy,so we decided to stop and sit down on a bench. Trent hasn't talked the entire way here and he looks really nervous. i was confused until Trent got down on one knee and pulled out a red velvet box and opened it. "Gwen,will you marry me?"he asked. i felt tears stroll down my cheeks. "yes. i will marry you."i said. he stood up,put the ring on my finger and kissed me on the lips. just a few months atrás i was getting beaten por a cruel jerk,now i`m here making out with my future husband. i realized that Trent was the person i was looking for all along,not Duncan. i know that this time my husband will actually amor me and take care of me like a real gentleman would,and that somebody was Trent. i could never be mais happier.
