You know, I've always wondered what it would be like to live the life in Ferson. The extreme weather, the serene beach, the unique villages...I lived in Derevia, a country full of lush grama and a warm atmosphere. But today was fall, and it was rarely ever warm in the morning. When I get up and put on my clothes for autumn, I walk outside, feeling the moist, cold atmosphere on my face. I never minded going out in the chilly mornings, but the feeling of it on my face was something I couldn't take, but I knew I had to put up with it.
There was never any change in the environment in Ferson, because most of it was desert, anyway. This is one of the main reasons why I want to live there. One of the partial reasons is to live in village cottages and sleep in fluffy, soft beds. Not live in poor towns in which you can only sleep in bales of feno to keep you warm and comfy.
Why did I come to live in Derevia, you ask? I couldn't afford the money. My future was to open a bolinho, queque comprar with my good friend, Kami, and have numerous customers coming along and order up some sweet and delicious dishes of cupcakes. I didn't have the money to make that dream come true, either.
When I left my parents, they only gave me very few money. About thirty dollars. In Ferson, they considered a million to be a lot, of course. Here in Derevia, they consider a Hundred.
My path to life was starting off pretty boring, dull, and miserable. That is--Until I learned about Shudderline.
Now, Shudderline is just a tiny little village. There were just ten cottages, the rest of the homes being cabins. I hated the cabins. The bales of feno were my bed. There was no plumbing, electricity, or entertainment. Not even any storage or basic essentials I needed to continue on my life.
But, there was an interesting history about Shudderline that got me to investigate the whole place; There lived a group of poor people who came upon this town. They all weren't able to afford cottages, but they had to deal with it. It was their only hope. But during the night, an intruder came every night, killing the group, one-by-one. Shudderline is now full of ghosts, and scary myths and prophecies. I wasn't sure if I should go there, at first, but I decided to go ahead and check out the place.
The fee for entering Shudderline was fifty dollars. I had no cash on me. What was I supposed to do? I went to the Feddura Pond. It's where people threw their coins to wish for money. I went down into the water and collected those coins. Too bad I destroyed their wishes--Oh well. I needed to get into Shudderline, anyway.
When I payed the fee, I looked around--And the place was so dark. There was aranha webs on the lampposts, chipped paint on the cottages and ripped feno on the roof, there was even a dry bloodstain on one of the cottages.
I had a chill run down my spine as I also saw the skeleton of what looked like one of the groups of people who died here, laying it's body on one of the cabins. I also saw carvings on the cabins, one of them saying "Rot or stay bloodstained". That's when I started running down the rua of the place, the tourists of the forbidden village watching me as I ran faster to avoid seeing anymore of the remains of the massacre.
I thought that I was such a moron for even thinking of doing this. I had to walk around in the eerie atmosphere, looking at the remains of what happened in Shudderline. Then, I stopped dead in my tracks as I saw a line of skeletons on the ground, surrounded por puddles of blood. I was freaking out on the inside, but I struggled to stay calm on the outside. I avoided touching the skeletons or the blood, and then I came across a dead end--I was wondering why, then I looked behind the sign.
The rest of the rua of Shudderline was burnt to a crisp. The streets stained with ashes, shredded hay, shards of wood and glass, and the stench of chemicals filled the air. I wrinkled my nose in disgust, then turned around, sticking my tongue out. What a grotesque village, and what a dark past! Why did I even come here anyway? Then, behind the corner of my eye, I saw a curved shape behind the bushes. I went through the bushes to investigate, and saw some graves of the bodies. The temperature mysteriously dropped, and I was shivering. This isn't the type of cold weather that I was used to.
I smelled the familiar stench of mysterious chemicals again. I pinched my nose and held my breath to avoid inhaling them and catching toxic diseases. What mess have I gotten into?
