I mean, severus is so experienced with potions and magic... wouldnt all that experience come in great use if ever harry got hurt somehow? Plus if severus was married to lily I highly doubt he would seem as "cold" as he is now... so he may be more loving as a father... my perspective... posted over a year ago.
