The team has reached Eterna City, just before the contest! But, there was a problem, the score board wasn't working! So, with a slight change of plans, the team heads to the Eterna City Gym! But...

"Now, we can wait in da plants for da contest to start, then swipe the Trainer's Pokemon!" Meowth exclaimed. Team Rocket was waiting for the contest to start, but they didn't know about the delay!
"I have a feeling that we should be at the Gym." James said.

"Here we are!" Max said.
"This is a 3-on-3 Gym." Ash said.
"That's not good! I only have 2 Pokemon!" I replied.
"You can use my Pidgey!" Ash replied.

Gym Battle

"I can see that this is a Grass-Type Gym." May said.
"Bellsprout! You're up!" Gardenia, the Gym Leader, said.
"Nuzleaf! I choose you!" I said.
"Nuzleaf and Bellsprout! This is going to be a great battle!" Max exclaimed.
"Nuzleaf! Use Magical Leaf!" I said. Unlike the first Team Rocket battle, Nuzleaf actually used Magical Leaf!
"It really worked!" Dawn exclaimed.
"Yea, they have been working hard on that since the first Team Rocket battle!" Ash replied. The attack didn't do that much damage to Bellsprout, because they both were Grass-Type.
"Nuzleaf, return." I said. "Pidgey! I choose you!"
"Great choice!" Max said.
"Bellsprout! Use Bullet Seed!" Gardenia said.
"Pidgey! Use..." Someone had entered the Gym through the roof!
"Prepare for trouble! Jessie started.
"Make it double!" James continued.
"Meowth, dat's right!"
"To spread evil all over the galaxy!"
"Sent here to fulfill our destiny!"
"We don't want to do a full motto, so give us your Pokemon and we'll leave!" Meowth said.
"Why don't you just quit!" May replied.
"Quit is not in our dictionary!" Jessie replied.
"Carnivine! Bullet Seed!" James said.
"Pidgey! Wing Attack!" I said. Pidgey missed and crashed into Team Rocket!
"WE'RE BLASTING OFF AGAIN!!!!!"

Continuation of the Gym Battle

"Bellsprout! Use Bullet Seed!" Gardenia said.
"Pidgey! Use Aerial Ace!" I said. Pidgey then beat Bellsprout.
"Bellsprout, return. Exeggcute! Use Psychic!"
"Pidgey! Return, and Nuzleaf! Use Dark Pulse!" Somehow, Exeggcute dodged and Nuzleaf did the same!
"Nuzleaf! Dark Pulse again!" This time, Exeggcute got hit!
"There is no way Exeggcute can continue!" Max exclaimed. He was right.
"Exeggcute, return. Roselia! Petal Dance!" Gardenia said.
"Nuzleaf! Switch out for...Pidgey!" I said. "Dodge, then Wing Attack!" Pidgey was hit por Petal Dance, and wasn't able to hit Roselia!
"That is not good!" May said.
"Don't worry, he still has two other Pokemon! Nuzleaf and Aron!" Max replied. Something was happening to Pidgey...it was evolving!
"A Pidgeotto!" I said. "Use Aerial Ace!" Pidgeotto was still stuck in the petals, and couldn't move! "Pidgeotto, return! Aron! Tackle!"
"Roselia! Use Razor Leaf!" Aron was fast enough and avoided Razor Leaf, then rammed Roselia!
"Roselia! Try Solar Beam!" But it was unable to do anything! Meaning the Gym Battle was over!
"Nice! I got...the...Forest Badge!" I exclaimed.
"That's already your segundo badge! Before we know it, you will be competing against the Elite 4!" May told me.
"You can keep Pidgeotto! It seems to like you mais than me." Ash said.

And so, a victory at the Eterna City Gym gives the team the 2nd Badge! Now, can Dawn keep the winning streak going in the contest? And, what about James' Carnivine?...


"I can't believe you let "Team Twerp" beat us!" Meowth complained.
"That's fine, Team Rocket will be back on topo, início tommorow!" Jessie exclaimed.
"You mean..." James started.
"You are..." Meowth continued.
"THE CONTEST!?!" They both said.
