With Pokemon Sword & Shield released in 8 days, there's something important about these two Pokemon games and it has to do with a small thing being used on a big release.

Enter USK 6. USK 6 is confirmed to be Pokemon Sword And Shield's rating instead of USK 0. Especially compared to other mainline Pokemon titles with a USK 0 rating like Pokemon Black/White or Pokemon: Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee! Not many Pokemon titles gets a USK 6 rating. I mean, we have USK 6 Pokemon spin-offs like Pokemon Rumble World and Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon. But not the mainline one like X/Y or Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon. I mean, look at the 3DS predecessors. All the mainline 3DS games got a USK 0 and USK 0 did not represent these Pokemon titles. Blame hand-holding/tutorials/young players/Kanto pandering. I guess USK can't allow Mega Evolution Pokemon titles to rate USK 6. The only Mega Evolution USK 6 Pokemon release so far is Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon and Pokemon Rumble World. First of all why did PSMD got a USK 6 but not X/Y/Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire/Sun/Moon/Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon? I guess nintendo 3DS have no respect over Pokemon like Pokemon X/Y and stick with Pokemon-less 3DS titles like Smash 3DS. Think about it.

I understand why USK is very proud of putting USK 6 on mainline games that isn't Pokemon like Mario based on the works for the general public and major marketing decisions because unlike Pokemon, other mainline games like Kirby rely on USK 6 and treat their USK 6 ratings very well. Pokemon doesn't. So unfortunately, they never realize how many mainline Pokemon games which are better than other mainline games like Metroid are usually not allowed to receive a USK 6 rating and aren't considered as USK 6 games, that is why people haven't got noticed that the mainline Pokemon games for nintendo 3DS which includes Pokemon X & Y, Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Pokemon Sun & Moon, and Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon. All we could blame is USK they made bad decisions to the mainline Pokemon games on the 3DS. Yet, other mainline games like The Legend Of Zelda has been free to choose the USK 6 rating that the mainline games exactly wants. Again, blame the parents protecting the children from the 3DS's 3D mode and force the 3DS Pokemon titles to be playable in 2D and have the games rate USK 0.

Don't ever say mainline Pokemon titles have to have USK 0 in worse because I'm sure Game Freak and The Pokemon Company been skilled, just playing the 3DS release like USUM, those USK 6-worthy releases. However, USK just screw all of them, it doesn't mean USK 6 mainline Pokemon games not existed. Until now.

When Pokemon Sword & Shield gets to rate USK 6, it was done right and I'm glad Pokemon Sword/Shield deserves a USK 6 rating. USK took a risk por putting a USK 6 rating on a mainline Pokemon game beginning with Sword/Shield and the gamble payed off. Unlike the 3DS predecessors, Sword/Shield was very lucky to have USK 6. I know there's no National Dex/Mega Evolutions for Sword/Shield. But at least Dynamax make up for that as USK 6 was the perfect rating for SS because USK 6 represents Dynamax unlike the awful USK 0 rating Mega Evolution Pokemon games like Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire got. Curse you USK 0. There you have it, USK 6 gets to be Pokemon Sword/Shield's rating. Now that Mega Evolutions is gone, USK 6 is now allowed to be used on Mega Evolution-less Pokemon games like Pokemon Sword/Shield. I bet USK 6 take Dynamax over Mega Evolution any day. Poor Mega Evolution. It's no wonder USK 6 don't trust Mega Evolution and stick with Dynamax. Lol. Silly, USK 6.
