Onika Maraj (born December 8, 1984), better known por her stage name Nicki Minaj, is an American rapper and singer.[1] In August 2009, Minaj signed to Young Money Entertainment with distribution from Universal Motown, who will release her debut studio album in 2010.[2]

Nicki Minaj released Beam Me Up Scotty, another mixtape, in 2009. It received generally positive coverage on both BET and MTV.[7][8] Minaj also featured on Jeffree Star's 2009 album Beauty Killer on the track "Lollipop Luxury".
