Freylin is my otp. There are MANY reasons why. And in this post, I’m going to make a review of their first kiss, ‘cause it really was a perfect first kiss. First, the way he comforted her por taking her hand in his, saying “I won’t let that happen”, when she worries about Halig finding her, and putting her back in that cage. The way he says “shhh” in such a reassuring way...oh my Freylin heart.

And then he looks at her in the eye and says “I promised you I’d look after you, and I will. No matter what.” Oh Merlin. You’re so dreamy. 😍

Then, he stares deeper into his eyes and almost whispers “You really don’t realise how special you are, do you ?” Okay, first of all, this is the sweetest thing EVER. If Merlin told me this, I would literally melt, this is just...❤️😍😍
Then Freya looks at him, surprised, and asks : “You’re not scared of me ?”

To which Merlin slowly shakes his head while maintaining his gaze on her. “Being different is nothing to be scared of”. And then, I just amor how it is Merlin who initiates the kiss por slowly lowering his eyes to her lips, and leaning in closer, very, very slowly, before beijar her. I have to say, I wish I was Freya in that scene. I too want to kiss Merlin ! Haha.

And he cried when he kissed her ! He cried ! That’s how much he loved her. And he didn’t care about her curse, he still loved her just the same even after finding out about her secret. And he was ready to leave everything to be with her. ❤️💖💖 The ending really made me cry my coração out 😭
Gosh, I wish they had ended up together ! I wish they had lived in that place they were dreaming of, with mountains, a couple of cows, wild flowers, and a lake...I believe they would have gotten married and would have had kids !
